  1. Oh thats OK:-) At my age, disappointment, rejection and failure are all things I have dealt with before and doesn't get me down:-)
  2. Now THAT would be an AWESOME SWEET account!!!!
  3. Can I put the extra scented chunks in a zip lock bag to store? ( I think this is on topic )
  4. Zinc guy here too. I like the way they burn AND love that they stand on their own really well!
  5. Honestly, I would suggest that you discuss your concerns with the owner. I think he will appreciate you looking out for him/her and will show that you are professional and concerned for his guests and staff. I would propose simple, clean and classy containers ( possibly balmoral). I think that they are less worry and safer when people are too busy to watch over them. Also, IMHO, I would always suggest scent-free for a restaurant so that they will not interfere with the aromas of the food. I know that this is not what they asked for but I would talk it over and see what they say. Just my opinion.
  6. I have ranted on and on about this wax. I have tried SO HARD with it to get a good throw. I did discover if you heat to 185, ad FO at 180 ( which was higher than I was adding ) and pour from 160-170 you have the best chance at getting a good scent throw----hot or cold. I used FOs from 8 suppliers and finally gave up. I will say that it is SO easy to work with and the candles are just beautiful...it just didnt want to smell good for me I KNOW it is me, because the experienced Chandlers love it.
  7. I took my tabs back to the supplier and said " Give them to someone who wants to deal with this" It was WAY frustrating to me. I guess from reading what you guys have written that I crimped them too hard but most of them bent on me and the ones that didnt came out of the tab when I tugged on them to straighten in the wax and THAT is annoying. (I REALLY dont like cleaning jars and starting over) I think for the price of pretabbed wicks...they are worth the time and effort to me!
  8. I started using the 8.5 oz Tumblers ( like the Votivo candles ) and they were very popular but I have moved to the Balmoral and several others that have lids. I have found that the cold throw ( for me, anyway) does disipate over time without a lid of some sort for the containers.
  9. I would just LOVE to be able to do that! REALLY beautiful!
  10. OK..I have to admit, I dont have a CLUE what I am looking at. Firestarters? Is there wax in those?
  11. I have never seen ANYTHING like those, ANYWHERE! Beautiful!
  12. I LOVE the way you did that on the corner of the blue! So creative!
  13. I never get tired of seeing black in candles. There really arent too many of them. Nice job!
  14. They look SO summer-ish! I LOVE the colors!
