  1. I moved on from them a loooong time ago. I won't be taken for any more money!
  2. You're going to have trouble with a warmer using a 25 watt bulb melting wax unless the wax has a REALLY low melt point. The bulb needs a higher wattage to work efficiently with wax tarts. I don't understand these Scentsy people.
  3. I've heard good things about this guy: http://www.pegboardmedia.com/
  4. Here is a 2-in-1 base for you: http://rusticescentuals.com/Fragrant-Room-and-Body-Spray.html
  5. This one is made for soy throw: http://rusticescentuals.com/Fragrance-KY-Candle-Wax/
  6. You may burn off some of the FO top notes by remelting & repouring.
  7. Is/was that the one owned by the guy who used to own Missy's? If so, he's fly-by-night I think.
  8. This is from October of last year: http://rusticescentuals.blogspot.com/2010/10/product-shortage-notification.html
  9. Could you just put the name of what it really is? Almond & Raisin Pastry.

  11. EO's tend to not perform well in candles - they're not designed for that use. Try putting your candle in the freezer for about 20 minutes - see if that helps. Did you use a container wax by chance?
  12. I wouldn't use coconut oil. Also, stir the FO at least 2-3 minutes and then wait until the wax is slushy (very, very cool) before you pour it.
  13. You definitely need to try the Dreamcatcher.
  14. I like Toasted Almond Torte from AHRE.
  15. The eugenol shortage has been affecting spicy FO's for about a year now - they've soared in price.
  16. You'll get a better tart throw using 10% fragrance oil and a 40-watt bulb. The melters with low wattage don't get the wax hot enough for a good hot throw.
  17. Amish Quilt, Dreamcatcher, Atomic Fireball Cinnamon (throws INSANE in soy!), Little Black Dress, Flannel Sheets, Cherry Mist, Warm Vanilla Nutmeg, Pumpkin Creme Brulee, Forbidden Fruit, Green Irish Tweed, Cranberry Yuzu, Apple butter & Caramel, Barbershop 1920's, Calabrian Bergamot & Violet, Frosted Winterberry, Lavender Apples & Oak, Alaskan Wilderness, Christmas Cheer. Is that a long enough list? LOL
  18. Are you referring to the Amish Quilt? I love it! It throws like crazy. The Pumpkin Creme Brulee is also awesome - it's strong.
  19. There are other FO suppliers out there that sell equal or higher quality products for a more reasonable price. I'm not falling for "free" shipping. It isn't free.
  20. You can check the market and watch soy futures - when soy goes up, so does the soy wax. And it's been creeping up the last couple of months.
  21. I also use paper towels. But what works best for me is using a large pour pitcher, but filling it only 1/3-1/2 full. If I get it too full, I have drips.
  22. I would think it was the peppermint or sweetener. Nothing else in there looks out of the ordinary that you wouldn't have already used in a commercial lip balm.
