  1. Here you go: http://rusticescentuals.com/Bases-c-89/ That company bought out Kentucky Candle.
  2. Here's a couple of links that might help - this company has natural bases, flavor oils and sweetener: http://library.rusticescentuals.com/category_11/Lip-Balm.htm http://rusticescentuals.com/Bases/
  3. I wouldn't use container wax because it's too soft. Can you not use the 4630 on its own?
  4. I wouldn't use any of the 4630 - the melt point is too low to pop out of any container.
  5. I doubt this happened at the supplier's end - it likely happened during the wax manufacturing process. Maybe a piece of equipment broke?
  6. Have you tried this base? http://rusticescentuals.com/Moisturizing-Body-Spray-Base.html
  7. They haven't really Trademarked the name. It should show the R with a little circle around it if it's an actual Registered Trademark. You're safe!
  8. What kind of wax are you using, what kind of candles are you trying to make and are you using any wax additives?
  9. Their Teaberry KY version is fantastic. It's 'out of the ordinary" and definitely not for everyone, but I remember Teaberry gum and this nails it.
  10. The first thing that comes to mind is fresh air, sunshine, grass. Maybe a titch of floral.
  11. FO's - Rustic Escentuals. AH/RE is fast with shipping, i love the 2 free full-size samples, and never had a problem with my order. I also use their wax, wicks and dyes. Containers -The Jar Store I don't use Uline much, but when I need packaging, they are at the top of my list. Places I won't order from again are SOS (terrible FO's), BCN and Aztec (rude customer service).
  12. I agree - I wouldn't use 464 for tarts. 464 is a container wax. Use something with a higher melt-point.
  13. Poking relief holes in container candles is essential. You don't want tunnels caused from the shrinking of cooling wax - it will ruin the candle burning.
  14. Wouldn't you need to use a water based fragrance with that instead of oil based?
  15. My favorite is Amish Quilt from AH/RE. Although I haven't yet tried any, the KY soy candle line: http://rusticescentuals.com/Fragrance-KY-Candle-Wax/
  16. Have you tried using disposable pipettes? One thing that helps me when the dye begins to get too thick is to put a drop or two of mineral oil in, and shake well. It helps to thin it out a little.

  18. AH/RE is in South Carolina: http://RusticEscentuals.com
  19. I saw this and thought I'd pass it along for anyone interested: Job opportunity
  20. They are the same one's - I've ordered them and they work fantastic.
  21. This one http://rusticescentuals.com/Children-s-Room.html
  22. AH/RE is my main supplier. I get about 70-75% of my oils from them: http://rusticescentuals.com/Fragrance-Oils/
  23. Here is a paraffin wax that comes in granulated form: http://rusticescentuals.com/Ky-133-Versatile-Paraffin-Wax-Blend.html
