  1. You can paint them......just remember the area you cover will not absorb the fo. (so it's best not to cover the entire surface, but only small amounts). You can also paint one side and leave the fo for the other side. But, you CAN paint them with water based (not oil!!) soap dyes, either watered down or straight from the bottle, and that will not interfere with the scent at all. You can also decorate with beads/trims etc. attached with modge podge, but again, that area will not absorb the fo. Oh, and I have some i did in late August, and bagged.....and they are still strong and perfect!
  2. I feel so bad for you.....what a horrible thing for them to do to you! Have you considered confronting them in front of everyone with the fact that they were "happy" with free candles (and kept taking them), and it wasn't until you were moving on that they trash talked you? I don't know how many people you have at work, but this might be the ice breaker bullies like this deserve......most can't handle confrontation, but would rather talk behind your back.
  3. oops.....critters....ok, Santa's Candy Critters....Santa's Candy Friends....sorry, I'm carried away

  5. I use those little pitchers as pouring pots for those tiny hard to pour molds...raisins, etc........works GREAT! I THINK they are called stainless creamers and are sold in the housewares "gadget" aisle for about $1.76 each.
  6. What about using decals on the tiles to match the Holiday, or decor?
  7. You don't say what kind of molds you are looking for.........but Jackie can't be beat, especially for food molds!! http://jagsmolds-candles.bizhosting.com/index.html
  8. I am merely stating what a fire caption's opinion was....I'm sorry if I offended you....I didn't think it would matter either, thats why I asked. And this remains his opinion even IF the fireplace was cleaned yearly....please feel free to take it for what it's worth, I'm merely passing on the information I learned.

  10. Thanks, thats good to know.....I've got a zillion jars/tins I'd love to use! Unfortunately....my Michael's doesn't have the candle warmers on sale (they are in the ad, but at 4.99).....so now I wait! lol
  11. Stupid question........can any bowl/jar be used (as long as they are thick enough) on the candle warmers? For example, I've seen people use them as tart melters and I was just wondering if anyone has had any experience with this. Thanks!!
  12. I learned that not all suppliers have the same wick stickums, even tho they call them that.........BCN has the BEST and I've never ever had one come loose.....as a matter of fact.....I've changed my mind on a jar on occasion, and couldn't GET it loose! lol
