  1. You just described my best friend to a T and her fav of ALL time is Little Black Dress........let us know what you decide on, I'm curious (and nosey) lol
  2. Smells just like Ed Hardy to me....worked great for tarts and made alot of teenagers very very happy when I made air fresheners with it!
  3. I've been making cookie tarts for years, they are one of my best sellers!
  4. Ok, maybe time to panic. I went back thru every program I have that will print labels, and I found Avery 3112 1 1/2" template, 3274 1 1/2" template, and of course the newest 5293 1.625" ...no where could I find the others. Sorry I couldn't help!
  5. do you happen to have the avery #? i know stupid question, but I have a few OLD avery programs, but the only way to look it up is thru the avery number.
  6. I'm here if you need anything.........I'm so terribly sorry. Darla
  7. They actually started this two years ago....I know of a couple of moldmakers who got letters and offered refunds for the molds if you returned them, and of course they quit selling them. I only make them for myself and friends now.....too bad, they were so cute and free advertisement for the peeps people actually!
  8. midwestsiliconemolds.com...............you won't be sorry, maybe more expensive than you'd like, but they work like a dream, the detail is amazing, and the customer service by Corey can't be beat!
  9. I 2nd this, and you can buy a can at wally world in the paint department cheap! (altho, I love the smell of krylon) LOL.....must be candle nose.
  10. If you could get all the scents you want from one supplier........sorry, just wishful thinking. I am out of Smores, Pumpkin Souffle, and chocolate moose..........anyone have ANY idea who might carry all of them? Thanks!
  11. The place I get mine doesn't sell just the lids, so can't help you there, but "goo gone" (home depot has it for sure) removes the sticky adhesive quickly, altho they would still have to be washed. HTH
  12. You've obviously never poured in the nude........JK !!! LOL
  13. Oh......i forgot about the diaper cake, i made one years ago, and it turned out so cute...great idea! The only drawback, I made mine 3 tier and it had receiving blankets and bottles and pins etc etc and it really got expensive, but worth it. I think about that same time, I made "boo boo bunnies" out of baby washclothes, those are fun AND functunal! You can even get those sealed ice cubes (the kind you refreeze over and over) to go in them.
  14. I already posted a picture of the baby bottle (glass candles) somewhere and it won't let me post them again, you could find them in a search I'm sure. If not, pm me your email and I'll send the pic. I also bought 2 different baby bottle silicone candle molds, but I just didn't like them as well. HTH, good luck!
  15. I did this bunny (wax dipped) for a boy shower and changed the ribbon to blue. The baby bottle candles are are big hit (tie blue curly ribbon around the cap lids and be sure to put a warning label to leave cap off when candle is burning!). Baby bottle caps with nipple tart melts are cute.......also not candle related, but i love to make baby "keepsake" books.
  16. Go to Corey, she has them I'm sure. www.midwestmolds.com or try Ginger at www.flexiblemolds.com Monica at www.vanyulay.com or Laura at www.tropicalbreezecandles.net or just post in the classys here: http://www.craftserver.com/forums/forumdisplay.php?f=12 HTH
  17. I have many hundreds of molds, alot with rips. The rubber bands don't necessarily have to completely close the mold, as long as they hold it CLOSE, the silicone is usually pretty forgiving and you can usually get good pours even from ripped molds. You might want to try to get a good piece from it, and find a moldmaker to make you another mold from that piece....in the event it splits so far that your wax leaks out. Another suggestion, just in CASE it IS split TOO far.......be sure to put it ON something when you pour (an old cookie sheet, piece of aluminum foil with the edges curled up or something like that - ask me how I know this) lol
  18. Thanks everyone, this was such an old post, I had already found the fo to use on my baby "hare" freshener! LOL Thanks!!
  19. Thanks! Wish I could easily tell you what size wick......it was before I started keeping notes on my "puter" and they are paper notes that have yet to be transferred.....I'll see if I can locate them.
  20. I did these years ago for a baby shower.....the "baby" is now 8. LOL They were a HUGE hit! (don't forget to add on a hang tag or some other instructions to LEAVE THE LID OFF WHEN LIT......you just never know when someone just isn't thinking.)
  21. Thanks!! (With a teenager, it's so rare anymore that I'm correct!) LOL
  22. Correct me if I'm wrong, but my understanding is the reason for using the candle dye (oil based) is that fo is oil based as well, so therefore b&b dyes are water based and won't mix.
  23. Ok, stupid question I'm sure.....but how do you put them in your furnace filter?! My filter is one of those store bought thingys that slide into a slot........please enlighten me as the idea sounds interesting!
