  1. I want one, but am totally with you on this one.....those coils exposed have me freaked. (scardy cat, yeah I know). Also, everyone says to cover them the first time with already melted wax.....got that..what I DON'T get is poking holes before you turn it on in the future. How do you poke holes in completely cooled wax.....or do you poke the holes before it competely cools, or ? Please someone who is a pro with these things, explain this one to me.
  2. First of all, candle decal paper.....then you have the choice of white or clear paper. The difference will be what colors your image has in it. If your image has white, you'll need the white paper (ink jets do NOT print white) (unless your pillar IS white) and you'll have to trim really close to the edge of your design. If your image does not contain white, you can use the clear decal paper and you won't have to trim quite so precise. HTH
  3. I actually made these once.......surprisingly (no it wasn't) the people who would LIKE the smell, didn't want their houses smelling like pot.....must be a fear of cops thing. LOL Makes a cute gag gift, although personally, I didn't like the smells mixed.
  4. Seems that would make more noise, and make a bigger mess than anything, but it might work. Personally, a giant drop cloth, a concrete floor, a hammer and chisel work great for me....but thats just my way.
  5. Here is the one I have.......heats to over 400, and it DOES work....it's just not as fast as I expected.........for even SMALLER cuts other than a slab. http://www.spiritcrafts.net/crafhotknif1.html
  6. It's not a quick process to cut wax that way....takes way too long imo.
  7. Krylon matte spray is the best i've found to keep smearing away.....if purchased at Michael's, it's around 4.99 per can, it's less than 2.50 at Wal Mart in the spray paint section for the exact same thing.
  8. Is this method as effective as dipping them? I mean, is the scent as strong? Can you do this with beanies?
  9. I've found that different area's prefer different scents, what sells for me may not be what your customers would want. Some places I ship to prefer one kind of scent, another prefers another, Just try some!
  10. Adorable idea....where on earth would you find the metal tins to fit the cd though?
  11. My son is turning 13th.......he hasn't eaten anything in over 8 years that he doesn't ask if it's real or not first.....now if I actually DO bake something, he's alot more appreciative than you'd think! lol
