  1. And how many calores do those have..LOL looks so real.. cathy
  2. I do not use NV soy.. so I am no help there.. and I do not use eo's either. all i can say to help you is.. if it is sinking.. and not blending.. then I would not use it... you cannot not have an oily mess when your candle is finish .. it could become a fire hazard... Hope this helps you out cathy
  3. What i am driving at is.. if I cannot not smell a candle that is suppose to be cured in 2 weeks ... then I will not use that fo.... I liked mine cured withen 3-5 days...once they cure they are cured.........
  4. not to be a smarty... but one week you do not smell but the next week you do Your right about how long something can cure though...... try pickles, or Beer, (ok so I am not a wine drinker)..... they can only get so great........and only get so ..well quaility.. and your right about the candle nose... but next week when i cannot smell the one that has been cured for 2 weeks.. after not playing with any fragrance at all............. well end of story... loved your post.....gives us all something to think about....... Cathy
  5. I have tried both.... the hot glue gun just seems like to much work for me... to time consuming... once in a while the wick stickums.. (not the one that I use)......... but to me their all the same... might not stick... like I like them to... SO I just heat the bottom of the my jar with a heat gun .. for extra muscle and that does the trick .....try pulling it back off and you may get the wick itself instead of the tab..... here I go again....... Cathy
  6. You Know I have been saying this ...which seems forever......... If you buy a quailitly fo ...You can get your fo to cure withen 3-5 days............ yes the longer the stronger... but If i cannot smell withen the 3-5 does i reject that particular fo from that Co......I only buy fragrances that seem to cure withen the 3-5 days because my Time is money..................... who wants an Fo that you have to wait 2 weeks for............... not I...... mY 2 CENTS WORTH........ AND THEN SOME HEY WHERE THE HECK IS THE WINK SMILEY??????? CATHY
  7. Just Incrediable!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! Cathy
  8. Add about 3% of beeswax ..and your after burn will smooth out... 100% soy takes on an ugly top after it has burned for the first time and so on...most people do not inspect it.. they just relight...it seems like if I pour at a cooler temp.. it is not that bad as to a higher temp..... You will have to work with the wax to see what temp fits you in the pouring stage... HTH Cathy

  15. I love the 100% soy.. great hot and cold throw...the frost will come... give it a chance... one day you do not have it then the next there it is....do not worry about the frost... customers do not mind... they seem to like the effect of the frosting...Me personally seem to think that it looks like ice creeping on a window pane in the mist of winter... Cathy
  16. Mixing your own ...you can go 50/50, 50/40, 50/30, etc... it is a matter of choice.. to come up with your own formula..and then you can decide if this is what you like...
