  1. I find my tarts always have a stronger scent than do my pillars/containers. I think it has to do with the temp of the melt pool as well as the flame on the wick evaporating some of the FO...
  2. I don't have it set to automatically renew, but I did set it to email me a few times before it expires. Been messing with logos for 2 days lol...think I might break down and pay someone to come up with it.
  3. I really like those candles....but then again I tend to like just about anything with pink ribbon on it.
  4. It sounds like if they didn't appear until you added the FO that maybe the FO didn't blend all the way with the wax....What temp are you adding the FO and how long are you stirring it?
  5. Now I just have to get around to building my website and designing a logo... Company name is Sunlight Expressions. Have tons of ideas for it, too many I think lol. Need to narrow it down a bit, and I'm a very indecisive person lol.
  6. Candlelovr, I used IGI 1343 for my overpour...I add 2 tablespoons of Stearic and 1 teaspoon of Vybar per pound. Hope that helps.
  7. I like the first one best....looks more classy to me.
  8. I acutually use a power saw on mine. My dad saw me beating a slab with a hammer one day and suggested the saw. It works great.
  9. I used to sell for The Angel Company and they always had quite a few of these types of stamps in their catalog, I would go to their website: http://www.theangelcompany.net/ and order a catalog or find someone in your area selling them...
  10. I don't remember where I purchased the dye, but it's a liquid and I just varied the drops to get desired color. The peach color is one drop of orange and 2 drops of pink per pound I think...don't have notes with me at the moment. I find liquid dye easier to get consistent color but haven't experimented much with dye blocks. Thank you also for the kind remarks, my mom loved the basket
  11. I got some smaller boxes at walmart in the office section where they have packing tape and such. You could always use those inside the bigger box for added protection.
  12. I might do that later today. If I do I'll definitely let ya'll know
  13. Has anyone tried this? What are your thoughts on it. I received a free sample of this with an order and it smells great OOB just wondering if it's as good in the wax as I haven't had time yet to try it out
  14. I make mine off an address label template but on cardstock instead of label paper, then I cut them out with a paper cutter.
  15. Wow, I love the one on the right Good job!
  16. Have you tried tapping the sides of your mold after you pour?
  17. I would just kinda lean them up against the mold standing straight up...if that makes sense.
  18. I would try placing the cinnamon sticks inside the mold before you pour....as for orange slices, not too sure.
  19. Thank you for the compliments. All the candles are scented Cucumber Melon. Was playing around with that scent and my Mom fell in love with it hehe.
  20. Here are some pics of a basket I made for my mom:
  21. I'm about 2 hours from Atlanta, I've tried finding something in the area but haven't came up with anything...if you find one please let me know
  22. no checked that first. The only ones that seem to work great are my votive pins. The rest more often than not turn out off center. Could it be because they aren't sitting inside the mold but through the hole in the bottom(sealed with putty)?
  23. Quick question about about wickpins...even while using them my wicks seem to be off centered. They start off centered but by the time the wax hardens they aren't anymore...Anyone have some suggestions or tips? Thanks in advance.
