    Yes you can do layers. I would say the advantage of 223 is its hot and cold throw, but you are going to get wet spots.

    Found this recipe for Mechanics Soap. I've never used it but thought that you might want to try it. Lye = 9.25 oz (4% supperfat) Distilled Water 20 oz Sugar 1 TBLS Salt 1/2 TBLS Coffee Grounds 1 tsp Corn Meal 1 tsp

    I love those boxes! 250 is a bunch, but the guests will love it.

    Are you using Zinc wicks? If so they usually do mushroom. I use Zinc wicks all the time and if you trim your wick before each burn they don't cause a problem. Some don't like the mushrooming so have found other wicks that work well for them. I have noticed that if you are using the correct size of wick mushrooms will still be there but not so bad.
