  1. NG's Choc. Rasp. Cream Roll is fantastic in soy... cold throw is ridiculously strong on the chocolate notes, hot throw really brings out the raspberry and marshmallow layers. It's a nice bitter-sweet chocolate scent... not overpoweringly sweet.. but sure is strong! I have found however, that this is a love-it or hate-it scent... a few people fell in love with it at first sniff... others were completely turned away. It's not a sure-fire hit with everyone, so I'd suggest picking up a small sample bottle first. I haven't tried BC's to comment/compare the two... but if you're looking for a Chocolate Raspberry scent.. I'd definetley suggest trying the NG one.
  2. Another vote for NG's... I hate lavender... but this one is amazing.
  3. I haven't.... but, I'm tempted to try it out. I'd think the higher temp would be ideal for soy wax... but the amount of smoke off of those wicks is still a huge turn-off for me. But, I'd still like to get a few and play.
  4. I'll gladly participate.. hopefully my tax return check gets here soon... it's gonna get me some FO's!
  5. From your list, I've only used the Mardi Gras... fantastic scent.. fruity and lightly floral. It's strong at first, but calms down nicely. Love it! Edit: I'd love a NG Co-Op!
  6. I haven't tried the straight lemon... I have used their Lemon Meringue Pie, however.. that's fantastic. Fresh, bright lemon scent in the cold smell... no Pledge or fuel smell to it at all... hot throw brings out just a hint of pie crust and vanilla meringue... it's terrific in soy.
  7. That's sad to hear... as I was wanting to pick up some Millcreek soy body bases to play around with using a Caramel Corn... WSP's is body safe. If I'm going to pick one up, I'd have to give the WSP one a try... I want it to pull double-duty for me. beesweet: Please let me know how it works once you get a chance to play with it!
  8. Has anyone tried the WSP dupe yet? I'd love to hear thoughts on that. I've not yet ordered anything from TCS... so if I end up getting some from there.. any suggestions on other oils to order? (Can't stand ordering just ONE thing!) Also, has anyone used the TCS Caramel Corn in soy?

I really like the Yuzu from NG... actually have a tin of it on a candle warmer next to me right now. Throws amazing in soy, and it's a strong, sweet citrus. To each their own, I suppose!
  10. Don't let that suite pass you by at that price... that's a bargain and a half.
  11. Looking for a terrific Caramel Corn scent... if you've tested in soy, even better. Friend of mine bought some of the "Crazy Caramel Corn" bath products from B&BW.. they're AMAZING! Any help is greatly appreciated.
  12. I'm pretty happy with NG's Rain in 100% soy. Good throw, but not run-you-out-of-the-room strong.. but I personally don't think a fresh rain scent should run you out of the room. .. My $.02
  13. I use the soy from NG, the side of the box reads "PLAIN 415" I quite like it, took some time, but I've tamed it and got it behaving quite nicely now.
  14. You can find warmers for a couple bucks just about anywhere. I grabbed one at Kroger a few weeks ago for $3.00 You can use a wicked candle on a warmer, absolutely... just be aware that it's heating from the bottom up. A large, tall container will take a while for the melt pool to reach the top so you can get a scent throw. Squatty containers work best.
  15. NG!!! If you've never tried them.. what are you waiting for? Some of my favs: Yacht Club YUZU Fresh Fruit Slices (I want to eat this one!) Frangelico Streusel Bird of Paradise Mardi Gras Tangerine Lemongrass Oh, and about 30-40 others... but I'll stop here.
  16. Bumping this back up to the top, as I'm quite curious to find this too. A buddy of mine had a candle scented with this and he went nuts over it. Didn't think to look what company it was from.. I'll have to ask him where he got it.
  17. Just reading the name of the thread (before I clicked in to read responses) I thought purple, immediately. I'd go for a richer fuscia/purple though... it's the Orchid that's making me think that.
  18. www.wholesalesuppliesplus.com Has wicks available in 10-counts, not all the ones you're looking for... but I know they have HTP's and CD's. Worth a look... and they're a great supplier... always get my stuff from them really quickly!
  19. Maybe throw in a ocean/marine scent... Yacht Club from NG is sure to fit the bill.. very unisex, very clean.
  20. I recently switched to the frosted Metro's... the frosting makes the seam nearly invisible. You can find it if you look for it.. but it's not nearly as 'in-your-face' as the clear ones.
  21. Haiku is the name of a women's fragrance... IIRC, it's an Avon scent.
  22. Uhm.. the whole "large format" picture taking is a load of bull. You got a 10 megapixel camera? Awesome! I bet it does take really large file-size pictures. Guess what? That's what photo-editing software is for. You can change the size of the actual picture, AND the file size to suit your needs. But, what do I know? I'm not a professional photographer like you.
  23. I use Jar Store... and haven't had a problem yet. Only "problem" I had, was one jar I received, out of 3 cases, was slightly 'off'... 8oz Metro jar that just wasn't formed correctly.. it was more oval than round.. no biggie, used it to test a new scent for myself. One jar out of 3 cases... not a bad ratio.
  24. I'd imagine they're the foil sheets, like when you get your hair highlighted, and they brush on the dye over the hair, using the foil sheets to separate.
