  1. Bet it smells wonderful. Your swirls are always out of this world, great job!
  2. Just a special thanks to my swirling tutor, Sherie. I am finally starting to get the hang of swirling.
  3. I love CC FO's in soy. My favorites are Serendipity, Bunchberry & Moss, Solace, Fairy Dust & Twinkle Toes.....but nearly everything I have tried, I can get a good throw in my soy at about 7%.
  4. Okay, last one. I have been on a soaping terror this past week, LOL! This one is a OT FO, Frosted Wineberry. Smells wonderful in the soap, base color is Grape from MMS with a white swirl. Thanks ya'll for looking!
  5. This one is also SW, Spiced Pumpkin Souffle, with a little orange coloring and some ground vanilla. Looks like a slice of pie and smells wonderful. Not sure what the discoloration is in the pics, but soap is a uniform color, maybe the lighting is causing it.
  6. Wow, beautiful colors Michi....can't wait to see it cut.
  7. This is SW Black Orchid and White Lily. This is my second batch. As some of you saw in my other thread, my first batch failed miserably. http://www.candletech.com/forums/showthread.php?t=34946 This time I mixed my color with soaping oils, and backed my oven temp down to 160 for about 30 mins., then shut the oven off. This is what I got this morning after cutting. Thanks for looking. Edited to add, color is Black Oxide from MMS, the base soap has a little titanium dioxide in it to take the "yellowish" edge off the soap.
  8. I second that, and also KY Puresoy, same wicking as EZ and 415.
  9. I oven process all of my soap and they are usually okay. The last 3 or 4 batches have been wrinkling up on the top, as you can see from the pics. This was a beautiful white with black swirl when it went into the oven, but you can see now, that it looks like dookie on top. It looks kinda wrinkled, but has some pitting and some raised places on it. I thought it might be overheating, so after the 2nd time doing it, I started taking it out after it gelled, but it still happened. The only other thing that is different is that I have been using about 1 or 2 tbsps of glycerine to mix my oxide or color. Can that be causing this? I soap at room temp, but my next batch I am going to cover and insulate well and see if I can bring it to gel, without the oven process. Anyone have this happen or any ideas on how to fix this? Thanks. edited: cause I can't spell.
  10. Try this thread http://www.candletech.com/forums/showthread.php?t=34309&highlight=chocolate and this one http://www.candletech.com/forums/showthread.php?t=32739&highlight=chocolate
  11. Here ya go, try this one out. http://home.exetel.com.au/lozniz/Soap/index.htm
  12. I didn't work with palm that much. But what I did, was keep the relief holes open and then just fill them and a bit over, just to barely cover the top, so the line wasn't really noticable.
  13. A band and a Dan's band over the top here.
  14. Beautiful soap Mag...nice purple and like the sparklies.
  15. Very pretty bar, I am sure you will have no problem selling it as unscented.
  16. I don't package mine until I sell them. But if you want to ahead of time, I would wait 4-6 weeks, so you won't get a lot of additional shrinkage.
  17. Beautiful soaps, love the red color and the swirls. Bet it smells wonderful. Can I ask what color you used for the red, it is gorgeous.
