  1. did you usea hand held mixer or did you just stir them together?...
  2. well of course we are gonna need your recipe and what you are doing! then we'll go from there! (bunny we psoted at the same time!)
  3. I agreewith all the above stated about helping one another, especially when it comes to our kids... I'll buy one too!
  4. nobody????? anybody???? I know some of you do the big expensive craft shows, but this is not a craft show... i just dont think (know) I can afford the $1100 booth fee.....
  5. also, think about on what your logo is going on... if you have to shrink it to fit on smaller packaging you won't be able to read the website.
  6. I'm totally with you Bunny! You can always add your website near the net wt or somewhere else. By the way, I prefer the 2nd one. It's more put together.
  7. Does anyone do them? I was emailed some info about an upcoming (sept) Home & Interior Design Show.... Sounds intresting, and that's what I am looking for, a more upscale crowd to introduce my line to, plus being so close to Interior designers sounds promising ( I hope).... has anyone had any success with these? TIA Erika
  8. I dont think thats something that I would recommend, but then I again I've never down that before. I have no idea if it will mix well. Also, you throw off the preservation and could have mold growing in your lotion.
  9. I was gonna do Coconut Lime Verbena (SW) and Satsuma (either Guava from SW or the one from SNC)...
  10. they have both... but I was referring to the ones that fold in half with the handles... I think Target barely started to carry them cause I never seen them there until 2 days ago. I bought mine from Walmart, but I must say that they are still pretty heavy!
  11. walmart (in their sporting goods dept, +some have them in the furniture sect.) has the 5ft folding table for about $40... give or take a few bucks, and Target (in their furniture sect.) has the 6ft for about the same price...
  12. Yes, I would also recommend lotioncrafter, you will need some of their stuff when I send you the recipe... you can start off with the silicone sampler thing they have, yeah, kinda pricey, but it will last you FOREVER and in the long run it would be cheaper than having to buy the store bought stuff so frequently. I also used their formula as a stepping stone. also, in the past I bought some alkyl ester from TDF, I also use that as an igredient. I know after some time their shipping went down hill and half the time they got my order wrong. But anyways, I have plenty alkyl ester, that I'll send you some of that stuff, the rest is up to you!
  13. I would be than happy to send you some of my stuff... I'm always tweaking the recipe, so I don't have an exact recipe, but I'll send you the recipe that I use for the one I send you and then you can work with to get to what you want.
  14. so... how do you get yourself to do try it the 1st time... well I take that back, I have tried it about twice, but toooo painful, I just can't seem to get myself to keep trying. and on my legs, it wasn't too bad, but it wouldn't get all of the hairs... I get my brows and around the forehead done, but that don't hurt, plus, they thread it, which I prefer. But I hate having to shave so often, then it itches... don't worry, I don't scratch in public before, when i had plenty of time on my hands and a flatter belly- hey it was a better view and easier to work with, I would pluck the hairs out, and that really didn't hair.. but there is no way I could do that now. really, does a few shots really help out?... really if I start drinking, I just might start getting typsy and get all sidetrack. but I need some advice!
  15. very lovely.... wish it wasn't so gosh darn hot here to use jars like that... sigh...
  16. I was also not impressed with some of their dupes... especially when I had some of the actual stuff right in front of me... but I never used their VS dupes... Oh goodness.. I don't even remember what they were.. I just didn't want to continue to try any more of their stuff.. there are people who rave about their oils and such... such as their sweet pea, I know it does NOT smell like the actual one...
  17. I never tried that scent before, but just wanted to put my .02cents in about SNC. I recently ordered from her (last week) and I emailed her before hand and asked about their current order processing time and stated that I would love to order from her again but refuse to have to wait 2-3 (or more) months... so she worked with me to get that order to me in a timely manner and it should be here tomorrow or wed. She has awesome oils and very decent prices, and you might want to email her before you place an order. Worth a shot!
  18. Maybe with an aluminum lid (if there is) and a shiny white label... I like those jars, I've been thinking of adding them as well.
  19. oh goodness... I am sooooooooooooooooooooo tempted to order. last time I had to wait 6 months for my refund, but at least I got my money back. hmm...
  20. Lonestar's version does not even come close to SNC or The Sage... totally different scent. Lonestar's is more of a lighter scent. THe other ones are a bit stronger and in my opinion, better. I didn't even bother testing it.
  21. I would also suggest SNC, that is if you want to risk it with their service. Also one of my FAVS! due to SNC issues they had in the past I had to look for another supplier, I tried about 3 others from other suppliers, the one closest to SNC was from the Sage.
  22. I would love to be your tester! If you still need more.
  23. I also do not melt, and I do believe that there are no benefits from melting, I guess that's just what works for others best.
  24. the inci name is Cyclomethicone (and) dimethiconol, but it's actually something that comes out of one bottle, if that makes sense. I guess you can say it's a formulation of both.
