  1. Well I have never smelled the actual perfume, my MIL loves white linen and the one that I had originaly purchased from SNC, my MIL stated that it smelled just like it. So I tried WSP, and they smell completly different to me. It is strong on the citrus note, tangerine, I want to say..? It smells good, but I guess I prefer SNC, but it's just a hassle ordering from them.
  2. thanks, but I guess I should rephrase my question: where have you gotten yours from that you have been pleased with? that has excellent customer service (the supplier)?
  3. Sweet Amber Musk White Ginger & Amber White Linen These are some of my scents in my B&B, but where I used to get them from takes forrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrreeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeevvvvvvvvvvvvvvvvvvveeeeeeer (forever) to get them, and I can't risk waiting 1-2 months, or whatever. Who is a good supplier of these. I've tried the White Linen from WSP, but wasn't too pleased. The White Ginger and & Amber, I haven't been able to find another supplier, most other carry White Tea and Amber. ANd the Sweet AMber Musk, I've tried from another supplier, but it wasn't as good as the one I usually get. TIA
  4. i also get mine from Gelluminations, for body sprays not candles, . .... humm.. who do ya'll think has better Pink?
  5. I refrigerate Hemp and Avocado oil.... I don't know about the others... If I had room, I would refrigerate all!
  6. no, it's candleandsoapstuff.com It's been 3 months since they charged my acct.. I know others have had problems with them, and wondering if any of you got your problems resolved. (meredith, have I told you how nice of a person you are,... well, you are! always willing to help people)
  7. to get your money back from them, or at least to get a response to your emails. I didn't lose much money, so it's not the money, it's just the way that everything has been handled.... I am just frustrated with them.
  8. though I changed most of my recipes (some were accidents... lol) i still want to know what you guys thought about some of the stuff..... please....
  9. sorry it was a bust:( Yeah, I stay awayfrom outdoor shows for now, till it cools off, my last attempt at an outside, my candles melted! Good luck next time!
  10. I use the 1610 all in one and no problems at all
  11. I also do the cyclo with ako, people love it. I never had people say that its too oily, but I never give them a cahnce to say so, before I/they spray some on I tell them that it has AKO and the qualities of AKO and how it has no alcohol, which is good since some people with sensitive skin can't do the alcohol in body spray. I spray it over my clothes and it hasn't yet to stain anything, I do warn them to test on exotic fabrics first though. Also, today in walmart I saw a body spray called something like "dry oil spray" with AKO that used IPM instead of cyclo. I sprayed some on and it felt just like the cyclo.
  12. I got mine today!!!!!!!!!! Was I suppose to eat the soy body butter by carmen... cause I DID!!!! ok, I could have! -About my hair mist: I used to buy mine, between 2-6oz, and paid between $6-12 depending on the brand and size. I don't think that I've ever bought an 8 oz for $6!! I would rather keep packaging it in the 2-4oz, and either way, it would be hard to keep pricing low due to the ingridients being so expensive, I mainly just make it for myself and for family. And even when I do perfect my reccipe, I would most likely price it for as much as I could, cause if people like it, they will buy! We all know we all have paid rediculous amounts of money on hair products. REVIEWS! Mystic Glow: -Lip balm... Love the strawberry!!! feels great on lips. My 4yr old has claimed it hers! -Body FrostingL: How on earth did it make it here without melting??? Feels great, smells great (Though I am tired of pink sugar and I am guilty of sending someone a pink sugar lotion). Great recipe Scents from Above -Moisture Body Lotion: Feels great, sinks in pretty well, not greasy or oily.Nice and creamy. Not too found of bullet bottles, still pretty cute, though. -Milk Bath:???????? I don;t have a tub So i will give to my mom to test! Cute packaging, not too crazy about it. -pamperme: shimmer powder: I am so sorry, but I really dislike LAVENEDER!... so I gave it to my MIL... I did try it out, nice and sparkly, I would have loved it in another scent. I lover shimmer powders! She loves it! She loves body powders! Packaging is ok, I know how hard it is to find those powder sifter jars for a decent price, so great job on that, I think I would like a different label. Overall GREAT! Ebcandles: The Goddess of the Soy Body Butter! What else can I say. I don't think you need the scent on it, it can be one of those things that just comes in that scent or whatever. Nice packaging, very elegant, but feels like something is missing. I would so definetly buy this butter. I am off to buy soybean oil to experiment! - - - - - -- So good job gals! All did fantastic! There was not one thing that I did not like. Many of packaging did not have the weight on it. And I would have liked to known what ya'll charge for your products.
  13. Well, I am a working woman now with a real job (I miss being a SAHM)... in the breakroom, yesterday, I saw a candle, it said sample on it, so I guess it was someone' sample. Well the candle was burned maybe down to 2/3rds and there was wax hang up badly, tunneling.... It was HORRIBLE!!!!!! There wasn't much soot so maybe it was soy wax, I don't know, I didn't touch the wax... THe story goes that there used to be a candle maker who worked there that left the job to do candlemaking fulltime! I am hoping it wasn't the same person that left that candle in the breakroom. THat just goes to show that people don't know what a good candle is! I can't wait till I bring a few samples of my stuff! I just want to wait a little longer, since this was just my 1st week. ....I just had to share... it's one of those things that make your jaw drop when you see it, casue you know you can do BETTER!
  14. cyclo goes a long way and packaging in smaller bottles would probably be best. I never though I would be able to sell it, but I have found that people LOVE body sprays, and if it smells good and feels good, they will buy it. It is also how you market it, need to find the pros to it. it actually sells pretty well for at at 2 oz, I only charge $6, which is not full retail I think.... I don't have my costs in front of me right now, but I at least get my money back and a little more. So give it a try, if it works, it works, if it doesn't, well at least you tried. I am glad I did.
  15. I though it was free too.... Whenever I request it, whether it gets picked up or not depends on my mailman's mood. and I understand about not being able to go cause of your kids. I am in the same boat as you are in that one... except one doesn't quite walk-well at least not fast enough, she is 10 months. it is quite a hassle oh well, what can you expect from the gov't workers.
  16. i use printshop and I use the brochure option and mine is a trifold. I use the back and I don't think that you can add pages, I just open a new one and save it as ".......pg2" or something like that.
  17. I've my husband an refreshing aftersun spray. But I am so terrible at writing things down when I make stuff for us. It has aloe, vit e, I think emu oil , or squalene ... or maybe both ... no I think it has kukui oil..... yes, It had some of that.... and maybe emu?? and a tad of peppermint eo. He has never peeled after being in the sun, and he has been outside alot (working on my workshop!!!!!!!!!!!!) and we live in houston, 10000 degree weather here! so I guess I wasn't much help... sorry! But at least you know it was something in between those lines.
  18. You might have some problems trying to bottle lotion that has been cool. I pour my while still warm iand runny into the bottles then I wait till they completly cool to put the top on.
  19. I would also like an update for the swap that rachel hosted.
  20. http://www.ellensessentials.com/heatseal.htm and http://www.candleandsoapstuff.com/foils.html, but they are out of stock, I don't know how that is possibly since they pretty much take your money and run.
  21. I've had PLENTY of problems with them in the past. Once I placed an order and they never shipped it, they had it marked as shipped and it wasn't at the time. After 2 (it takes less than a week for their shipments to arrive) weeks I emailed them and that's when they stated that they never shipped it, an oopsie! on their side. I would email them just in case. But even so, they don't really reply to the emails, unless you are really irrate. At least that has been my experience.
  22. BCN and BCS and WSP. YOu just missed the BOGO sale at TDF, it was buy one get one free!
