Everyone gave her cranberry spice a GREAT review... "it's so strong, blah blah blah..." Well it didnt work for me.!! and yeah. only like 5 FO's have worked for me... gets frustrating afterwhile. Though her sample specials are great, it's still a waste of money... I''ll get like 13-15 fo's for under $20 bucks with shipping, just to have 1 good one out of that bunch... that has just been my own experience.

i beleive the problem is the ewax.. I would have to convert to % to be able to tell and I WILL NOT DO SO (i am at work!!) at this time... but yup, looks like 1oz of ewax will not do the trick... about the mixing, once it's incorporatesd it's incorporated, I dont see why you would have to continue mixing through out, maybe only to keep up the fluffyness.... and no I dont think you could add stearic or more ewax to the batch bc to do so, you need to melt it all down to ensure it mixes well which would only throw off your preservation. wanted to add: my scrubs seperate like that, maybe just throw some sugar in there and use it as a scrub... .... or that may not work either!

I am assuming you are using water... if not sorry! Just wanted to add that if your take the ewax completly out, you still need some type of emulsifier. If not (as stated before) no need for the ewax or stearic.

mine looks like that (whether I whip it or not) for about a day or 2, then it completly seperates,... it's HOT over here, plus we leave the Ac off to all day to save money. I've learned to live with it (seperated scrub)! anywho.... looks good!

sigh... I am not allowed out to play after 8pm........... Seriously, now that I am member of the workforce! I'd hate to be away from my kids and husband the whole weekend. Oh, I so miss those days of bumming around and playing with the kiddos... I'm thinking that I would love to go friday night, meet everyone, have a few drinks, and leaving Saturday morning. I'd just hate to drive by myself .

its not what you wanted.... so you have every right to be upset, free or not... hey husbands are free! and we are not gonna settle for some guy that mom throws at us just cause he is the nice choir boy at church... whatever, you get my drift. I would have been really upset if I didnt get what I had asked for, especially if it was available (like the fonts). And it is hard when you are working with the parents, they just want to take control over everything. but image how upset your parents would have been if you went somewhere else (and paid - and got exactly what you wanted), your parents would have been hurt. So suck it up and hope that it gets "stolen".

I use the double wall for the shea, does it help?... who really knows, I'm in Houston and it's pretty much always hot so it melts regardless.

yes, I've bought some in a coop as well that was creamy and I used it once, made a body butter and itnever seemed to harden up, it was liquidy. So I have learned to only buy from one supplier (certain co-ops).

AN inspiring article on every edition would be nice. THe story of how a fellow chandler is living the dream of most of us, by having their own store, or whatever it is that makes them successful. I love to read inspiring articles. *edited to add, I just read Gypsyjen post, and that's somewhat what I meant, somewhere along those lines.
