  1. I don't mix it with soy or anything else. I really like this wax, and get good hot and cold throw. I use zinc with it, but want to start trying lx wicks. I think you would be happy with the wax just as it is.
  2. Wow, I am with you Dee, that is a little steep for a minimum. Probably gonna steer away from them for sure now.
  3. The only thing that I have found to work on these is mineral oil. I believe it is the only oil that does not saponify with the soaping oil. I have had great luck releasing when I use this.
  4. Has anyone ever soaped Bird of Paradise? I did a search and have not come up with anything useful. Just wondering if it holds its scent well.. I am finding most use it in candles, but I want to Cp it......TIA. I am not positive where it came from.
  5. Luci, I was thinking jojoba,do you think that would be alright?
  6. Just getting ready to do a fishermans soap. Is there anything you can add for texture that would not affect the properties of the soap? This is my first time with this, anymore suggestions? TIA
  7. Ann Marie, I can't help you with you soap problem, But I just wanted you to know that you are in my prayers. God will give you the strength to get through this, but I am sure it is slow going for you.
  8. I guess I have been lucky, I have never had any issues with them. My orders always arrived on time. I need to order the Angel Tears, it is light, but carries very well. I love the scent.
  9. Oops, sorry,I posted this on the wrong thread.

  11. Backwoods- Pomegranate and peach Hummingbird Breeze in the Keys.
  12. I have soaped (cp) white peach from OT and it really holds the scent very well. I think it is called peach deveign. It is a white peach. Personally,I don't like it, but have got some pomegranate and peach ordered from backwoods, and can not wait to soap it. I have heard that this does very good in cp.
  13. I just puored two apothecary jars with this wax. One has a 62z in it, and the other has two 44"s in it. I will post when I start burning them. I am really hoping the one with the 62 in it works. I hate double wicking.
  14. Don't use Candle Science. I love their Strawberry, and it does excellent in candles, and althought it is b&b safe, it morphs big time in cp.
  15. I like it,too. I can smell the alchohol in it a little. To me it isn't sweet, just stroger, and a little tart.Guess everyones nose is different.
  16. The bubbles may have something to do with your temp on the re-pour. I always get mine just a tad hotter than the first pour. What kind of wax are you using. I use the 4794 and it works well with me. If the bottom of your votive cup is uneven, it shouldn't make the tops uneven, but maybe the whole candle wouldn't sit right. Hope you get it worked out. I love making votives.
  17. Do you do a repour for the tops? This sometimes help. Can't help with the bubble, sorry. Sounds like you need a few more votive cups, lol
  18. They do post it on the web-site. I just thought this would be easy since she had the bottles in front of her. I got really bad eyes, but I can see the pink heart even without glasses.
  19. The bottles should have a litle pink heart on the label. If it does, it is skin safe, if not, then it is not.
  20. I use the zincs. No soot when you keep them trimmed. I have found that with this wax, you usually need to wick up one size more than with other waxes, such as 4630 or j50.
  21. I use 6006, and never have had to wick up. This is one of those scents that will blow you out of the room. I think it is very strong. What wax are you using.
  22. I use 6006.and I love it, my friend uses J50, and she swears it is the best. They are both very good, but you really need to test several to see what works best for you.
