I agree with you Liz, I had not even thought about Crisco having its own scent, so just to be sure I burned a votive made with it last night and for sure, no crisco smell.

I finally ordered two cases of 6006 and received them today. I always use zinc with my other waxes, but have heard these may not work so well with this wax, so I ordered a sample pack of Eco's and the german LX. I am planning to test in the 8oz. jelly jar and the 16oz, wide mouth. Does any one have a good starting point for either of these, or the 16oz. apothecary. I use this jar a lot,too.These wicks and the wax are new to me, so any help at all would be great. Thanks So Much

I, too, have recently started using Crisco in my votives. I use 4794 and 6228. I love the difference it makes. Nice burn pool and better scent throw for me. I use 2 tbs per lb. I think this is the board that I read it on. it works great for me.

I am looking for a really good buttery pecan pie, that throws well. I am using J-50 and gonna try some 6006 wax soon. Any suggestions would be nice. Tia

I have ordered a lot,too. And never once have I received anything except what I have ordered, actually all of the ones I have ordered and sometimes a few extra if they are new and she thinks you might like them anyway. I really like her scents and she is great to work with.

Anyone have any suggestions on how to blend a good caramel apple with Nutty Taffy Apple and caramel. Like what percentage of each you might use. I already have both of these and hate to order if I can make it myself. I think you would go a little heavier with th apple, than you would the caramel. What do you all think,,,,Thanks

Has any one used the warm vanilla sugar from ICS. How does it compare to BCS. I have both and oob they both smell great but kinda weak. How is the scent throw with this scent. I am using J50. Thanks So Much

I really love the sea foam green. It is such a relaxing color.

Oh Yeah, they are awesome. I have used the Island Kola Nut, and really love it very strong. The Goddess is even stronger, but very perfumey. Way strong on both at a half ounce per pound.

Yes, me too, a couple of years ago, and was not happy with them at all. I bought a thousand of their wicks last year when they had them on clearance and the tabs had so much rust on them. I had already quit buying their scents before that. Too bad, cause they use to have some pretty good sales. Donna

I have never used Cherish, but after reading your post about it, I just might have to try it. However, I do use Girls Night out and get a great throw with the J223 and zinc wicks. This is one of my favorite scents, hope it works out for you,,,,,DonnaMac -

Hi, I am just curious about all the candle sites I visit and they all say we test in soy.I think that is great, but what does that mean for us parrafin users, or pre blens, such as J50, J223,,,etc. Are these just as good in those waxes as they are in soy. Thanks so much, it is just something I have always wondered about,,,,,,,,,,Donna

I absolutely love this scent. I tsmells just like Missy's old Spiritual Awakening to me. I make it all the time and women really love it. Hard to explain, not a floral, kinda perfumy, but just very nice. One of my personal favorites.I make it in a hot pink, or scarlet.
