  1. I have had my Square account for a few months now, and really like the company. The funds are deposited in 1 to 3 business days. I have swiped at shows and taken Internet and phone orders. Square is pretty easy to use and my customers have had no complaints. I use a Apple I-4 though. Never have any issues at all! Highly recommend! Paul
  2. If you are looking for an all HDPE mold, Jeff makes a fantastic mold. I use HDPE in my wood molds.
  3. Jeff, I, too, am sorry for your loss. I'm glad you can once again enjoy making soap molds as much as we do! Paul
  4. Barb, it was our pleasure to meet you!:highfive: You are so sweet. Birdie did an excellent job! Hey, want a bar from the demo? It turned out pretty good even though it seized on me!:rolleyes2 Paul
  5. Beautiful soap, Babs. Love the design in the top also. Paul
  6. Another kudos to our Birdie! What a job she did. What a true southern lady of grace. I won a $50.00 gift certificate from Alabaster, and my wife won a FO from Tony's and a case of bottles from Bayousome.:highfive: A great time was had by all. Great food too. Here is a picture of Birdie and myself at the gathering. Birdie milking a goat! Thanks again Birdie, see you soon. Your soap is fantastic!!! Paul
  7. Soap will not readily stick to Plexiglass which another name for it is Lexan. I used to use Lexan, but it was too expensive for liners and dividers. I now use HDPE for my TOG Permaliner System and dividers. It is less expensive and releases well. HDPE is impervious to chemicals, and slick. I really like using HDPE along with premium wood for soap molds!
  8. I have a recipe high in linoleic acid for mature skin I really like. I use Safflower and Sunflower oils since they are high in linoleic acid. Paul
  9. A week away, is everyone excited? I can't sleep and am getting ready to write my GM RTCP Tutorial. Can't wait to meet you guys!:highfive: Paul
  10. We are getting molds made and cutters finished for the Tennessee Soap Gathering next weekend. I am also bagging up 100 pounds of lye to take, since I am going to start selling it online. Too much to get done in 6 days! I forgot, I have to finish my Paul's RTCP Tutorial for my demo there!:undecided Paul
  11. Thanks! Pork fat rules! Paul "With enough soap, you can blow up just about anything." --Fight Club
  12. I have a pound of Natures Garden's Coconut that stays true and very strong. Here is a link with a description; http://www.naturesgardencandles.com/candlemaking-soap-supplies/item/rf-2017/-Coconut-Fragrance-Oil-(ZB,-ZS).html Paul
  13. It will be my first soap and candle convention also. Paul
  14. I think so. I think there are around 45 to 55 attendees so far. You can milk a goat too! LOL Check the web site. I'll ask Birdie too. Here is the link if you don't already have it; http://home.earthlink.net/~tnscsocial/index.html You never know, I may just have to give the mold away that I do the demo in too.
  15. :undecided Yes, I will be set up as a vendor. Birdie asked me to do a demo too, so that will be interesting.:undecided I'm donating a TOG 8 Wire Log Cutter as one of the door prises. I'll be giving out discounts too. I have a great source of lye and am thinking about bringing 200 pounds with us and selling it in two pound lots. Have not figured a price yet, but about 1/2 of what Roebic's used to cost at Lowe's. Paul Lots of molds to get made before then, as it is only a month away!*super banana*
