  1. This recipe makes one KickButt bar of soap!! I would highly recommend if you have the ingredients on hand......definately give this soap a try! It's a keeper!
  2. I just test burned BCN Autumn Leaves and Hayride (BNL Line from BCN) and they both were great! Very strong hot and cold throw. Also test burned Butterscotch Brownies from Tennesse Candle. Cold throw was great ....couldn't smell the hot throw on the butterscotch brownies until I put it in the bathroom and shut the door, went in an hour later and holy cow did that smell good! Going to pour Pumpkin Cornbread from backwoods tomorrow and also test burn Warm Orange gingerbread from Tennesse Candle tomorrow. I poured all in 100% ezsoy. I have a few others I need to pour and test yet too.
  3. It worked like a charm.....did not rice at all!! Brought it to a thicker trace pretty fast but nothing unmanagable.....and man does it smell good! I did this one in an Oatmeal, Shea and Soy Milk batch...can't wait to see how it looks coming out of the mold. Didn't add any color...wanted a very natural looking bar and hoping the soy milk turns it to a nice light tan.
  4. Ok I have searched and searched to try and find this thread again. I want to re-read it and try it but for the life of me I can't find it! Can anyone help? I thought it was on this board. OR if anyone can tell me how you do a borax bath with soap I would appreciate that too! TIA!
  5. WOW....nice looking bars! I bet it smells wonderful too!
  6. Gorgeous swirls! And I love the colors too! I think your DH should go into the soap mold making business......he does a very nice job!
  7. Last weekend I ordered FO's from 3 (new to me) suppliers. Yesterday I got my Pumpkin Cornbread from Backwoods....VERY nice oob smell (and the hazelnut coffee sniffie she sent is so true and strong!)! Can't wait to try it in soap and wax. Today I got my 5-2oz sampler from Daystar....OMG the honey shea is steller! Along with the Buttermilk Honey! And Blackberry Jam Butter Cookies..I could drink that one! Brown Sugar and Fig and Kitchen Spice are excellent OOB. I also got my order from Tony's today and I think I have finally found my TRUE Rice Fower & Shea.............very very nice OOB! Can't wait to try it out in soap! I also ordered Black Pepper...delish OOB also. I am in heaven and can't wait to try these out in soaps and wax!! Will let you know what I think after I play with them!
  8. Adorable! Great find...now I am going to have to go check out our dollor stores..LOL
  9. I think this is a great idea! Thanks for starting it Sara!
  10. I think it is one of the BNL scents that BCN bought out. To me it smells like a fresh mown hayfield....or fresh hay bales. If the test burn does igood it will definately be a keeper for me. The name and scent goes well with my entire line.
  11. Because I am not sure what the going rate is......and I definately would not want to offend anyone by offering the wrong amount. I do know what I paid to have my web design done and that included my main logo and all the buttons, background, banners and what have you. I have one main company (which I have my main logo for) and 3 companies under that.........which I have nothing for so far. Here is my main logo......
  12. Hobby Lobby carries very small amounts of it...and it is ultra refined.
  13. Sounds good........I did post another thread on this subject also.
  14. Ok I decided to start a new thread....I absolutely loved the idea of the previous thread on having our great designers on here "kinda sorta" compete with some design work and then you could hire and buy from the one that fits your style....... Is anyone interested in doing this? I totally suck when it comes to working with programs and getting them to do what I want. BUT I am more then willing to pay someone to design them for me. I need someone who is into or kinda has the feel for designing "vintage" "primitive" and 1880's combination styling? Anyone who is interested let me know.....and I will add a bunch more details of what "feel" we have. BUT I really don't want to hurt anyones feeling if I don't pick them to do my designing.
  15. Just wondering what happened to this thread? I would love to hire someone to do a few little logo/graphic type things (to use on product labels and stuff) to go with my line that I already have.....and have even contacted the person who did my original logo but she must be very very busy cause I have gotten NO response from her.....I will start a new thread ..............
  16. I poured testers of all of these last night in ezsoy. WOW...the butterscotch brownies is to die for!! Very strong! The warm orange gingerbread is good too. The Autumn Leaves and Hayride are both BCN and also have a great cold throw and very fallish scents....can't wait to burn all 4 of these and see how they do on hot throw.
  17. I use ez-soy in a couple of my CP recipes...but not sure how that compares to beeswax?
  18. Mine would be......... OMH Warm Vanilla Sugar Sandlewood Vanilla Blackberry Sage Rice Fower & Shea And who sells the Sandlewood Rose? I want to try some and can't remember who it is that carries it.
  19. I have the Baltic Birch divided mold from I think Brambleberry....I love it! Have no problems getting the soap out and it never sticks!
  20. Banana Pound cake........cause it does look like a delicious slice of pound cake. I think it looks heavenly!
  21. Ohhhhhhhh...very very nice! Love all of them and I bet they smell great too! Nice job!
  22. Ohhhhhhh..very very pretty! Love the fall colors and the pretty swirls!
  23. I wanted so many of their scents that I ended up just buying a sampler pack so I could try about 5 before I bought big bottles. Can't wait till it gets here!
