  1. WOW.....that is some kick butt soap! Looks totally awesome!
  2. Thanks! I will try that tomorrow. I was so mad I thought about throwing the entire bag of color blocks away...LOL
  3. Hoping someone can shed some light on my problem here. I have a huge gallon ziplock bag full of color blocks for soap. Since they are in block form you would have to melt them somehow or another. Now I know you can add them to your oils and melt them but how in the world do you melt them to add to your cup of soap that you want to color to use for swirling? I melted them in the microwave with a tiny bit of oil....and they melted but when I added the soap to the cup to mix in to color......it turned into chunks and looks like crap(needless to say it didn't get swirled into the soap and my Pink Sugar soap now has NO color)! I have this cup full of soap that has chunks of pink in it. Is there a secret to melting these color blocks??
  4. I think I would get on the phone with UPS and raise a little hell. They themselves can send out the reship labels and ship them to you at their expense OR reroute them back to you since they screwed up so many times. OR they can refund you your money for shipping (problem there is they would refund the company that you ordered from and not directly to you)..........most companies won't mess with this and just pass it on to the customer when in all actuality it is the company that should be handling this mess for you....which is unfortunate that they act like it is your problem not theirs. But I would definately go directly to UPS and if they say they can't help you ask for their supervisor....and keeping asking for someone higher up till you get them to straighten out their screw up. I work with UPS everyday and sometimes you just have to be really persistant with them.
  5. That looks good enough to eat! Very pretty! I bet it smells wonderful too!
  6. WOW!! I don't think it looks plain at all...I love the color and I bet it smells heavenly!! I found a recipe for Apple Cider soap and am going to make it this weekend and try it out....Can't wait!
  7. Millcreeks Chestnuts & Brown Sugar is delicious!! But it doesn't smell anything like any of the Creme Brulees I have tried. I carry both.
  8. That one looks good enough to eat! Very pretty combo of colors!

  11. WOW!! That is absolutely awesome! Can't wait to see it out of the mold! I have a 21 and 17 year old (boys) that love AXE and would think those soaps are very very cool! I am going to now have to hunt down that fragrance for them. Thanks for sharing...they are gorgeous!
  12. Ohhhhhhhhhhh....very very PRETTY! Love the color and the faint swirl...perfect!
  13. I did my very first one in April of this year. Ours was a 3 day show and cost was $500. I did very well.........picked up 4 out of state wholesale accounts and 7 local stores now carry my candles and bath & body. So I thought it was worth it. And I passed out a lot of business cards and am still getting calls. So for me it was $500 well spent.
  14. WOW! What a mess........and scary for anyone who uses paypal. I am glad you finally got it straightened out. It makes you wonder how often this happens? And how often Paypal does this to people.........and you end up having to jump through hoops to straighten it out.
  15. Very nice!! That is really a great idea!
  16. Looks great! Wasn't that fun?? LOL
  17. Very Very Nice!! I love the oatmeal texture in it. Very pretty and your mold is very neat too!
  18. Thank You all for the encouragement!! It was so FUN to make and I am dying to make another batch. I am studying swirls right now so I can do swirls next. I should buy a soap box too.......any good suggestions? Anyone have that one on Ebay that looks like a cake pan...comes in 16 or 32 bars and includes the cutter that fits in the slots for perfect bars? And if so....what do you think of it? I am seriously considering that one. Kymber
  19. We use the square masons (reg soy candles), enamel cups with the lids and 16oz golden harvest canning jars (soy chunk candles). We use the primitive rust and zinc lids on them. Our line is pretty primitive so they fit in well. Kymber
  20. I think it looks lovely! And the colors are very pretty!
  21. Very nice! I love the different colors in the bottles!
