  1. OH yes it does matter how much you spend with them...you HAVE to spend 50.00 or more to receive that half ouncer!!! LOL!
  2. Much improved with the purple font! I didn't go through reading everything tho, but just wanted to let you know, I like it much better with the purple font! Oh and your logo is there!
  3. The Salty Sailor at Daystar is the former Salty Mariner from AGE. In the Fragrance Twins thread people are agreeing the salty mariner smells the same as peaks ocean. Just wanted to let you know this.
  4. Well, I think I like the Fragrances page the best. I'm not crazy about that red colored font on the other pages. I agree with the others who suggest taking that logo off all other pages except your front page. Also, you really need to go over your wording with a fine tooth comb. You have to many run on sentences and the punctuation needs some help. I do like the look of the gingham tho.
  5. Bluegrass's Gardenia is wonderful and whewie, its soooooo strong in soywax! You might want to give them a try too!

  7. Wow, what a great place! There is so much stuff in there it would take me days just wandering through it all. I love it!
  8. Well I guess I am the odd ball here as I thought the site was very beautiful. I had no problem reading the font, and no problem with the colors either...I loved it all actually and really do like the pinecones and needles at the top! Oh and the pinetrees with the faded lavender color around it in the middle of the page...awesome! Very dramatic...love the whole look! It actually made me want to look around and see what you make! I would give this website very high marks, myself! LOL!
  9. I recommend Millcreeks Fresh Cut Grass! Its an amazing scent that really does smell just like Fresh Cut Grass! Works awesome in pure soy too!
  10. It does have an apple jack and peel similarity but yet its different, if that makes sense, because I hate ajp but love this one! LOL!! I have the bcn mulled cider and ya, its all orange spice...don't know where the mulled cider comes in!
  11. How did this turn out for you? I am melting a Y Mulling Spices tart right now and omg, its awesome! I am smelling orange clove, cinnamon, apples, but there is also something else in there, ooohhh, maybe its a hint of cranberry mandarin?? Something along those lines...but this is probably the best cider/fall scent I've ever smelled...nothing I've had in my stash of oils has ever smelled as good as this one. Hmmm....can't believe no one has duped this one yet...wowza its good!
  12. So what does all of this mean for those customers who have websites through GH? And how does this happen? What has been filed against these websites? Who is doing this and why? I am not seeing the whole picture here...can someone explain a bit more please!
  13. BCN's Dreamweaver and NG's Satin Sheets is soooo close to being the exact scent its really hard to tell the two apart when sniffing the scent on each hand. OOB, there might be a slight difference, but on the skin it is so close, IMO they could be used as the same scent. Same color oil too! Sure do smell good!
  14. Sorry rottendogs, but if you were paying attention instead of sticking your nose in where it didn't belong to chastise those of us who made complaints about foh, you would realize the complaints were made before she announced she was going out of business! Those were legit customer service complaints, she was still and active selling supplier--------the complaints in this thread that you are so sure are worthless about this supplier aren't even complaints to this supplier, they are in response to another poster in this thread and what she posted! Maybe you should try to comprehend what it is you are reading first!
  15. Wow, so who the hell are you to tell US what we should and shouldn't post on this forum? Get off your high horse lady, I will post whatever I want about any supplier whenever the hell I feel like it! The problem was NOT taken care of by the supplier when we tried to fix it, which was just a matter of a few weeks ago, and we tried to take care of the problem AT THE TIME OF THE PROBLEM! So don't sit on your high horse looking down your nose at us when you don't have a flippin clue what actually went on! And as for discussing other peoples issues with suppliers, well for one, I was with this person so I am involved and was also a previous customer of foh, and for two, the other person isn't a member here! As for negative comments about a supplier, NO WE WILL NOT KEEP THEM TO OURSELVES! Alot of people here appreciate being warned about sh*tty customer service, or any problems suppliers are having, its the point of these forums to help eachother with whats going on out there!
  16. WOW! Maybe, just maybe, the problems have started in the past few months so therefore there wouldn't be complaints before that...Hmmm...could that be a new concept? Oh and ya, I'm the ring leader...funny...and as for the complaint I had, I worked closely with this customer of hers, I WAS THERE for the whole thing...what part of that don't you understand??? So second hand??? NO, try first hand!
  17. So its ok for us candlemakers to get crappy customer service because the supplier is having financial difficulties huh? We should just shut up and deal with being screwed, tell our own customers to just deal with it, our supplier is having a bad time and is treating us like crap and is eventually going out of busines...deal with it? Maybe you should learn to just deal with your buddy treating her customers sh*tty!
  18. My sentiments exactly! And Wayne, you now also have Bluegrass in your neck of the woods! Lucky for you!
  19. Sounds good! I'll pass on that info of the Hibiscus!
  20. That's awesome! Bluegrass has awesome oils, now hopefully all that will remain the same!
  21. Sorry, but that is a completely STUPID idea! And as others have said, don't give the government anymore ideas for gods' sakes! What exactly are you thinking anyway? If that is your idea of "knocking down" your local competition then you might be the one who needs regulating actually! If you are so concerned about your local competition beating you out in sales that you would like to see the government 'help' you to knock them down, you really need a new hobby, candles just aren't for you! And now that your bright idea has 4 pages worth of replies, where are you??
  22. So blowing off emails and phone calls of a customer who was a good customer for the past few years is ok with you? When she finally did get a hold of her, she agreed to sell the oil in a larger quanitity straight from her manufacturer and when the time came, she never held up her end and never bothered to get back to this customer! She could have gotten back to her after she bailed on this customer, leaving her hanging with orders that can't be filled etc..especially after she spoke to the customer and said she would sell her the oil, and especially being it is the busiest time of the year!!!!!!!!!!!! Things are tough yes, we all know that, but when you are in the type of business foh is in, she has WAY TO MANY people relying on her for their own businesses to succeed, you don't just "sh*t" on those customers and expect them to come back to you when you finally have yourself together! I don't see anyone feeling sorry for the owners of Enron, or the owners of these other businesses that just up and left their 'employees' empty handed.....so we should make excuses for those companies too even tho they sh*t on all those people who were relying on them??? Obviously this is much smaller scale, but its the same prinicipals! Just wait until you are the one who's business is taking it in the shorts because of a supplier, see how happy and forgiving and ready to look the other way you are then!
  23. Yes, MC's Fresh Cut Grass is awesome! Smells just like it! Had a customer tell me if you could add a burning oil/exhaust smell to it, it would smell just like mowing the grass!!!!
