HI all, I am wondering if anyone has tried the VBN from all of these suppliers...I'm looking for the best throwing in pure soywax. Plus for B&B so no chemical smell to it...anyone out there tried all four places, or compared a couple??? I know what NG's is like but just wondering if its the same...Which is the best or are they all the same in smell and strength? Thanks!

Its been noted on the twins thread the Pumpkin fudge torte is the same as BCS's Pumpkin Cheesecake incase you've tried that one already. I thought the pumpkin van. creme and the pumpkin and pralines weren't very strong throwers in pure soywax.

Ahhh...Serious crafters??? What serious crafter is going to want to build their business with CLOSEOUT FRAGRANCE OILS? Guess he doesn't get it. Look how much business he just lost because of the SERIOUS CRAFTERS here who won't do business with him now!

I ordered samples from CS ONCE and have NEVER been back and don't plan on it! I had a problem with one of the samples, I ordered a couple of different scents but 2 samples of each of those scents. I needed the 2 ounces to do the testing that I was going to do with these samples. Well one scent smelled so differently than the other one of that scent it just wasn't right. I emailed them explaining something isn't right with this one sample and it smelled like blah, blah, blah and the other one smelled like what it was supposed to smell like. They emailed me back and told me this, "it sounds like what you were looking for is sample A so you should just go ahead and use that one and toss the other sample"!!! I was appauled to say the least! I bought this sample that is now useless to me and they are telling me to just throw it away...nothing to replace it with, no credit for it, nothing...just throw it away! Ackkk! Nope, won't bother using them again, moved on to suppliers who actually show they care about EACH customer! I realize it wasn't much money I was out but I was out being able do the testing I had planned on etc...it was more the point of the whole thing and how they handled it! Poorly!

Totally agree with this! Do they really think we are that stupid?? Wow, they totally just committed business suicide! I guess we should have seen it coming, those who are SOooo unstable usually do end up doing something stupid, guess they just proved that! They are crossed off my list, definitely NOT interested now. Wonder how many other suppliers are out there laughing their asses off right now! :laugh2:

So anyway, did anyone ever get to the bottom of the marshmallow issue at Daystar? Is the soap silly marshmallow still the same as when soap silly had it? Has it changed or stayed the same?? Anyone order it lately?? I want to try some marshmallow scents and this is supposedly the best one out there so I want to know if it still is...

Would those of you who use MC's ps say this one is less musky? I don't like the strong musk smell in some of the pink sugars out there, such as the one from BCN...gag! I like the scent, just not the strong musk ones and BB has a good one, but again, its higher priced and the shipping kills me.

I'm just looking for which supplier gets the most 'ya's'! It doesn't matter which application, I'm asking which suppliers oils do you like the best? Yes they all have unique scents, top quality oils etc...but of them, which would you say is the one you couldn't live without?

Yep you can also add JS to that list too! One and the same on alot of these newest scents. Quite interesting isn't it!

Looking for some opinions on which paraffin to add to gb415 soywax. If you had to choose between the 6006, 4630, 4627 or the j223 which would you blend with the soy for a 70/30 or 80/20 mix? All help and opinions are appreciated!

The answer to my question appears to be a big fat NO! The ezsoy now appears to be back in stock and the price is still the same 52.90! That's really to bad!

If someone says their candles are made with a soy/vegetable blend wax, do you think they could also be using some parrafin in them? I ask because the candles I'm seeing really look like they must have some parrafin in them as the colors are very very dark, rich, beautiful colors with NO frosting what so ever...how could one tell, aside from asking them, if there is some parrafin in them??? I am considering adding parrafin to my soywax candles and am just curious if this is the result I would get if I did...they are gorgeous candles! Also which parrafin would you all recommend to use with soy?? Would the comfort blend make to soft of a candle? Would the j-waxes be better?? What are your thoughts?

I know this is an older thread but I just wanted to mention BCN is now Out of Stock on their EZsoy so we will now see if there is a price reduction when they restock! Alot of suppliers have really come down on their 415 prices...will BCN????? :undecided
