  1. I have 100% pure soy wax candles that I poured one and two years ago and they still smell great! Nice and strong scent..no fading of scent at all!
  2. Well good-bye then! Don't let the door hit ya in the ass on the way out!
  3. It sounds like Snowtop sold out because of wanting more time to raise a family...doesn't sound like it was due to slow sales or anything like that...must have been to much for them to handle! You should be ok! LOL
  4. Wow, this is a huge surprise...
  5. If you hurry, you can get in on their 99cent sample sale but it ends today!! Just put samp99 in the 'comments' area in the checkout process. Great price to test their fo's!
  6. I was just going to recommend the same one! LOL...I am testing it right now, and wow, it is strong...nice berry scent..I do pick up a mulberry in there too!
  7. WYW Mango Macadamia Nut! Love, Love, Love this scent!
  8. Sucks don't it???!!!! We do the work, they get the profits!! LOL...this is why wholesale ONLY makes sense if you are selling in large quantities to them...if say its a case here and a case there, then no its not worth it to me, I could retail that case or two and make more, but if you put a minimum number of cases for them to buy, you can make it worth your while...
  9. I will test burn my candles first..then if it all looks good, I will pass a few out to people to get their opinions on the scent throw, how it burned etc...but I will always burn at least one candle first per scent/wicking before I would give it to some one else to try.
  10. The thing I dislike most when going to a website is that 'opening page'...ugh! If you don't need it, I suggest get rid of it! Its really annoying to have to click through that page just to get to your products page...alot of us don't care for the cutesy 'oh look, its a front door' type stuff on websites..I am just interested in getting to the products! This is just my opinion tho!
  11. I have to agree with TENNESSEE!!!! Absolutely, hands down, the best LS out there...smells exactly like the VS version!
  12. Dang it! I wanted to try her oils and esp try that key lime pie...hmm...this is a bummer...have to get in on some other sales now!
  13. Yes, I saw that on the board over there...and it was 17.95 but not anymore...now 22.95! Thanks! I may have to try a sample from ST...although I haven't tried any oils from there yet, I did say I wanted to try her this spring..LOL...anyone tried MC's KLP? Thanks for the input on ST!
  14. Well, I went to order some more Key lime pie from BCN and was totally shocked to see the price for a pound is 22.95! I don't remember it being that expensive when they brought it back....soooo...anyone tried bcn's, does it compare to anyone else's? I love this oil because it smells so 'real'...you can even smell the graham cracker crust!!! Thanks for any input!
  15. There really is no 'proper temp' for pouring soy, its all trial and error, and personal preferrance. Start out with the guidelines from the supplier..then adjust til you get results you like! HTH
  16. I don't get it..if you were home, why not just open the door and go get your package...not wanting to seem 'impatient' is about the most ridiculous thing I have ever heard! Its your package, you know he's there, go get it! Is there something wrong with going outside and helping these delivery men/women so they can get back on their routes? They have thousands of packages to deliver everyday, a little help once in a while isn't to much to ask for is it? If you were delivering I'm sure you would appreciate it if the homeowner was home and came out to meet you or atleast answer the door!
  17. This seems to be asked here once a month!!! LOL...yep, good old bluegrass...can't believe their doors are still open..they should just sell out to someone who is reliable and be done with it! Then they would have all the time in the world for their constant DRAMA! Its totally ridiculous! I can't believe there are people out there who would still order from them!
  18. I don't even know why I am bothering with this but anyway...just because you think the wicks 'work' for your container, it doesn't mean they will 'work' with every fragrance oil...this is the part you seem to not understand..at least from what I read, plenty of people have tried to tell you this...
  19. Is that pom citrus from MC? If so that is an awesome scent! One of my all time favorites....love those candles..are you going to be selling them???
  20. It doesn't matter!!! Just something I found interesting that's all! If it isn't a matter to you...just move on...no need to waste your time posting..it don't matter!!
  21. Well after looking this up at 'whois' it looks like there is a connection between the two. Just how much of a connection or what kind of connection still remains a mystery!!! LOL!!! There is the same name listed under both of these! Hmmmmm.....
  22. Ok, I was looking at Greenleaf's site today searching through their oils...etc..then I went to JBN's site to compare oils, and noticed they had quite a few of the same sounding oils. So I looked through the sites more and was seeing 'word for word' descriptions on different items and such (lotion bases, FO's, reed diffusers etc) So I was wondering are these two companies actually partners? Like the BCN & BCS companies. Plus I get the same kinda 'feel' from both of their websites..meaning they seem very similar. Anyone know anything on these two companies or did GL copy JBN (word for word on some items)
  23. I guess I would add, if you enjoy candles and want to learn to make your own, to enjoy 'better candles' then go for it! But if your interested because you 'want to make money' then this probably isn't what your looking for. Its very costly, there is months and months of learning and testing that HAS to be done to make sure your candles are SAFE, and it can be years before you ever see any kind of 'profit' off it!
