  1. I am researching website builders right now and am frustrated! I am wanted to get my site done but don't know who to use. Does anyone have any suggestion on site builders? I've looked at a couple, but not set in stone on a certain one yet. Thanks! Charity
  2. Have had a myspace for a while...didn't know about the ct group, but just joined! thanks!
  3. Brighterscents has a wonderful Mulberry!! I just made them 2 nights ago and can't get enough! You may find many more of the ones you need there...Their oils are great!
  4. I also use soy and I have found the best hot (and cold throw) to be poured at 100-110. Some may say what? But the retention is wonderful when poured cooler. After cooled, I immediately seal them up (whether w/ a lid or in cello packaging), and I too, store them in my pantry for 2 days before testing. I've had great results...until I started getting cracks around my wicks the past couple of times! lol! But it's from a bad batch of wax. Good luck! I hope you have fun!
  5. Yeah, I saw what you meant about it looking off. I have had nothing but great results from the ones I've gotten from them and they test each mold before it is sent out. I hope you find what you are looking for.
  6. www.soapandcandlemolds.com is by far one of the best places (in my opinion) to get grubby molds. If they don't have what you are looking for in their "gallery", they'll make what you want. Their molds are silicone and very pliable! They are a little costly, but they are worth it! Hope this helps you out. Charity
  7. Just a thought...you could grab some candy molds (wal-mart has them) that have rattles, bottles, etc. and make small tarts with them. bag them in small cello bags (like 4 or 5 in ea. bag) and tie them w/ pastel ribbon. That's what I'd do. Doesn't take much wax you can mix n match and make diff. colors and scents. Hope this helps a little! Charity
  8. Most of my candles are bakery candles. I am looking for any unique suggestions on making the fo Sea Breeze, and the color. I thought of maybe a teal blue and some neat container with a whipped top to make it look like waves??? Would love to hear any other ideas.
  9. I would love to pay you for it and pay postage! I'm trying to figure out how to use pm--Let me know where to pay ya! Thank you so much!
  10. Thank you so much! I'll give it a shot this evening. Let ya know how it turns out.
  11. Hawaiin Breeze is a wonderful (but light) tropical fo, fruit salad is a good one, and so is french pear. Just a couple of my really good sellers for summer.
  12. I've wanted to try this for a while, but for some reason, I am scared to. LOL! Has anyone tried it and how does it burn? Better yet, is it a good seller? Thanks, Charity
  13. My dad loves Cool Water, My husband likes anything cinnamon, anything vanilla works well, too.
  14. Pink Sugar is mine...I make the lotion, room spray and car spray. Although it is a great seller for me too, I always want to keep them when I make them. Charity
  15. I'll add a couple I use.. BS...Brigherscents www.brighterscents.com HCS...Houston Candle Supply www.houstoncandlesupply.com Brighterscents is wonderful and always has really good deals!
  16. Okay..I made two more batches last night and 3 out of 4 candles had a (circle) crack all the way around the wicks again. I don't understand why I'm all of a sudden having this problem. Someone had suggested using a heat gun to zap it and it would correct it. I have tried remelting and it is not helping. To use a heat gun (just got one today), will it mess up the wick when I do it? And how much do I need to melt before it should be okay? Sorry for such a problem with my cracks, but do appreciate the suggestions. Charity
  17. I also put straws in the very top, but put a label on the candle packaging to remove before burning. I have also used glass stirrers in them, and there are embeds (for other types of drink candles) that you can use. The milkshake candles are a great seller... what scents of fo's do you use in yours? Charity
  18. I had the same problem with my last order, but went ahead and made some testers and they had sink holes and water spots. I notified the supplier and the shipped more that was okay. They said that they were sending me the new out of a new supply. I am assuming that it was old.... don't really know but I'm curious to see if yours does the same. I would suggest calling the supplier first and then making a test batch (or vice versa). Hope this helps some. Charity
  19. Just a few "plain and simple" ideas....WalMart, Dollar Store (any of 'em), Target has cute ones... Hope this helps
  20. Going to try to stay on top of my stock up at the craft mall. May spend a few hours up passing out tarts. Mother's day will be loading everyone up with "Mother's Day Candles" lol. Happy Mother's Day to you all!
  21. What kind of molds are you using? If using silicone or rubber, I make a small (wick pin size) hole in the center of the mold that my wick pin will stand in while pooring and cooling. That has helped me tremendously! As far as metal and plastic molds, I still have the problem. Don't know if this helps any, but good luck. Charity
  22. That would make sense. Both of them were big mugs. Do you have any suggestions on fixing it? It is a Mulberry, and I'm affraid I'm going to screw it up. I've only had this problem the last two batches, I remelted the Key Lime and had to rewick it. Do you suggest the same for this one? Thank You! Charity
  23. Thanks for all of your advice.... I took some tealights in yesterday and dropped them off for "freebies" and went back at closing time last night to check the stock ( I know, I know, I need to stay away for a while) and had sold 5 candles!! I was so excited! Thanks everyone!
  24. Okay..a whole new problem! I used advanced and have been using it for a long time, but the last two batches I poured have made a perfect crack all the way around the wick (about 1/2" out). I haven't done anything any different (that I can think of), but use different containers all of the time. What could be causing it to do this? Thanks for all of your help on the whipped topping...I made a blueberry dessert dish last night (I call it blueberry delight), and it turned out perfect!!
