  1. I GOT INSURANCE... I GOT INSURANCE... I am so happy! I just wanted to share my excitement! If feels so good to be covered.. I am selling with pride! I just got my first wholesale account as well.. For those that don't think you need it.. think again.. I live in California.. doesn't get any more litigious than good ol' Southern California.. I am glad that my butt is covered!
  2. I can't stress enought to go to www.lotioncrafter.com and look up the different recipes there. You will find out what the appropriate phases are and what temps you need to hold the water at, and what temp your melted oils and butters should be. THis way you also know that you have effectively killed all the bad mojo in your water, butters, oils etc.. A stick blender will do wonders for your butters and lotions. My body butter does not even look the same compared to when I mixed it by hand. I was afraid to incorporate too much air in my emulsified body butter. I keep it as close to the bottom as possible and never lift it out while powered on. Good luck and keep us posted! Teri
  3. ditto on what ^ said. I had some stearic that did not melt as well.. I started using my stick blender per Jenny at lotion crafter. It was night and day on how my lotion felt. I have never had one seperate, or the fragrance oil start to float on top since. HTH

  10. Wow!! Those look great!!! I am so glad you like it! Your mold is inspiring me to mix it up and try some different shapes! I am very happy that this recipe worked for you. I can't tell you how great mine are coming out. I use the cocoa butter and my tub is not super slippery, but my water feels fantastic! Thanks for sharing your pictures. I was not sure if it was my location (Southern California) with our low humidity that helped. I hope to hear from folks in areas that have struggled with these with their high relative humidity! Teri

  14. Sapmoss- Good Lord.. where has this fragrance been all this time??? This is hands down one of my newest favorite finds! I love Aveda products but this surpassed anything I could have imagined. I was expecting a total earthy smell but got that and some other wonderful clean notes. Smells great on the skin as well.. I would eat DH up with this one on. WONDERFUL! Spring Mountain Mint- Good Lord again.. This is my second favorite find. This smells divine.. not just a plain mint.. but something that reminds me of mint actually growing around a mountain spring... hmm hence the name.. lol. Okay. I did a Q-tip test and used equal parts of each of the above.. WOOOOWWWW!! If you happen to have both.. try mixing them.. it is too die for!! I am in love .... Can you say SOAPING TONIGHT!!!!!
