  1. Stella, that is a good answer. You may want to look at a softer wax during the winter. You can also try adding a softer wax to your current wax.
  2. call Jessica at Wick It her number is 866-394-2548. She has the perfect wicks for all of the GB waxes. Jason
  3. Ana, I thought we had this figured out??? What happened??? Call me again. jason
  4. Golden Brands list this on all of our boxes. Anything with the GB label is treated as a food product and therefore adhears to the rules set forth by the FDA. If you ever have any questions as to what is in our waxes call me and i will be more then happy to go over it with you. jason glaser
  5. If it is the wax, then what is happening??? Once the FO is in the wax it is in it. You are burning the wax too fast, therefore, burning the FO out of the wax. If you re-light the candle and give it a minute you will let it catch up and will start to smell it again. You are burning it to fast. It is not the wax, or the FO, but the wick you used with the wax.
  6. The problem is that you are burning the wax too fast. Call Wick It and let them know you want a wick for a low melt point soy wax. jason
  7. I think Kris at gateway set someone up in CA. You should call her at 877-220-1963. jason
  8. I guess it would help to tell you what they will carry??? They will have our GW415, GW444, and GW464 waxes. thanks again, jason

  10. I am sure you are not the only one dealing with this. That is why I am trying to help. This should not be the case with the 416. It is a pure soy, just like the 402 and 415. By adding more soy to the 416 to fix the issue shouldn't change anything but the melt point. This is where I am confused. If you don't mind I would like to ask you a couple of questions to see if we can narrow down the problem in case someone else comes across this. Are you using liquid color or a color block? What wax are you adding to the 416? Thanks for you help, jason
  11. the 416 is a pure soy and should only be used for tarts. It has a melt point of 135. What temp you bring it up to shouldnt matter, only the pour temp. The 474 has a melt point of 135 also, but should be poured around 145. j
  12. This 416 is a pure soy. Just like the 402 and 415 it will frost alot if you pour it too hot. You need to pour it at a very low temp (100). jason
  13. I obviously can’t speak for any other waxes, but all GB waxes are kosher and FDA certified.
  14. I suggest 10%, but I do know of people who use a higher percentage. It really is all up to you.
  15. Golden Brands Product Descriptions: *FO loads will vary depending on each specific FO used. * Pour temps will vary depending on size of container, amount of FO, and temperature of room. * All products are Kosher and FDA Certified GW402: Pure Soy Container Wax This soy wax contains no additives and is both natural and kosher. 402 has a lower melt point which helps with the burn and gives better glass adhesion so you get less wet spots. We recommend pouring this wax between 90 to 100 degrees. You can pour at a hotter temperature, but a heat gun may be required to smooth out the top. 402 blends well with beeswax, paraffin, slack wax, and microcrystalline waxes. Pour Temp: 90-100 Melt Point 115-120 FO Load: 6%-8% GW415: Pure Soy Container Wax This soy wax contains no additives and is both natural and kosher. 415 has a higher melt point which enables it to retain a higher FO load to give you a stronger scent throw.
