  1. Oooh - and BCN carries WYW...I think you're on to something! Jen
  2. I was just at a convention where she spoke! My guess is that it's a rename of something else... Jen
  3. Your frosted tumbler presentation looks awesome! Way to go!!! Jen
  4. I love #5. I really love the look you're going for...and I hate to be a Darla Downer...but do you use fos or eos in your candles? Any dye? If you're using fos and/or dye...you're not natural anymore... I'd hate to be misleading. Jen
  5. I love this one...but I poured it in GL's 70/30 blend and it turned the wax bright yellow! Not pretty!!!! Sure smells good though . Jen
  6. And I'm going to have to humbly disagree with you. I didn't believe an eco 4 would work in an 8oz jj with GL's 70/30 but tried it anyway when I wasn't getting the results I wanted with higher ecos. The eco 4 truly does work in this jar and wax combo...I only go up to the eco 6 with a very heavy oil. I've burned many a 8oz jj with the eco 4 down to the very bottom without a problem! Jen
  7. I've gotten many a wetspot from the 70/30 and yes - I heat my jars, etc. Don't want to burst your bubble...just being practical here! Jen
  8. I haven't but I certainly can and let you know...I've been meaning to anyway! Jen
  9. Lets see...just for me is SC Sandalwood, my Sandalwood eo stash, and I just ordered a sampler of resins and eo blends from Eden Botanicals and that is all for me!!!! Rose absolute is also just for me (I did share in a swap once). My coffee eo and cocoa absolute are just for me... I guess I have a lot of 'just for me! Jen
  10. I know you didn't mention Black Vetyver Cafe but the one from Daystar is delish!!!! And soaps well!!!! Jen
  11. You got some good ones there! SW Sandalwood Vanilla is my very favorite in B&B and candles. You could always buy a lotion base just for you (or family, friends, whatever) to use some of those samples that are too expensive for wax. That way - you're not spending too much money and not really adding another addiction! Jen
  12. Jenny - thanks for that clarification and it makes perfect sense then for you to do country prim and rose hips are the very best way to do that! What about adding grubby candles to your line to sell along with your soy candles? The scented rag balls are cute...tin candle plates, punched tin accessories, etc, buckets of prim fixins that they can scoop to make their own concotion, etc. Good luck! Jen
  13. IKS (this is ff&p from the dish, btw) - I've seen pics of your shop which is awesome!!!! and I just don't see potpourri fitting in with your style. You're fun, hip, bold, funky, etc - not country prim (rosehips) or upscale elegant (thinking Clair Burke like they sell at Nordstroms). Just my 2 cents.... I think you should sell bold colored, funky sock monsters because I think they're really cute! What about fun, retroy sort of stuff? Neat barware? Your shop and look is just so fun...do something with bright and bold colors. Jen
  14. This is how I do it too and love it! I bought KY's when I was starting out but it smells too alcoholy for me. Jen
  15. SC does as well but I prefer the one from SW. Careful - it's super strong!!!! If you soap it...it seizes like a you-know-what so be prepared to move fast! Jen
  16. To clarify...my explanation of trolling was just that...an explanation. I did not say I felt this was a troller. Hope no one misunderstood me.... Jen
  17. When I do a test batch of lip balm - I only do 1oz at a time which fills about 5 tubes for me. Anyway - I typically do 2% flavor which is roughly 1 ml per oz of base (if you use pippettes for your flavoring) and adjust from there. Look at the guidelines at MMS for lip balms...works pretty well for me. Jen
  18. Ok - seriously now...(cute bucket BTW) - how did you get your LLC soap to not discolor??? Jen
  19. Can you only order SNC oils for the deal? Jen
  20. And the prices just went up this morning... I still think I'm going to switch to it for my own personal use and to give as gifts to friends and family because it does make a superior candle imvho. Jen
  21. SW's BRV is a dream in soap!!!! Jen
  22. Oh yeah - and if by chance they do feel like store bought is better...well - that's not the type of person I'm trying to sell to anyway so no love lost there! Jen
  23. I call my soaps (and other products) artisan crafted (not handmade) and pretty much have my nose in the air when it comes to my products. No - I'm not a snooty person - but my products are superior to what is in the grocery store and what is in B&BW, etc so I act like it. This gets people begging to test for me! Jen
  24. Oooh - I just got a body butter in a swap that was scented Patch/Rose and love it!!!!! It was a 1:1 ratio. Jen
