  1. I do want to do the blends...but I also soap and do B&B so I know how to calculate ratios and percentages, etc...so if that's all it is (which I think it is...)...I'm set! Jen
  2. I got my Pryme Dyes this week and want to play this weekend...but Daphne mentioned something about needing a calculator spreadsheet that she'd send and I don't have it yet. Can some either send it to me (pm and I'll give you my email addy) or...if I know how to figure out %s etc...do I really need the spreadsheet??? TIA! Jen
  3. SW has an awesome Yuzu and I've used it in J50 and 4627 with great success! Jen
  4. It is the same recipe...Bohunk's. Cookiebug just used different oils (which you can always do with any recipe...but the recipe still belongs to the original creator) and a different method of mixing. FWIW - I tried Cookiebug's version based on Bohunk's recipe and let it whip for 90 min. Mine is very very dense (which I like) - I don't get the whippy texture that others get. I like using PKO in the scrub and am especially excited to see how it will hold up to the summer when emulsified scrubs like to seperate. I'm grateful Cookiebug suggested this as a substitution in Bohunk's #14!!! Jen
  5. You can find awesome hair shine/serum recipes at Lotioncrafters and The Herbarie. I've used both as a resource for recipes and ingredients and both are awesome!!!! Both (Angie and Jen) will go above and beyone to provide help. Jen
  6. I've heard nadda from my 2 follow-up emails. Sigh. I really really want these! Jen
  7. It's one of those where alot find it drying...and alot don't . I've received FBB products in numerous swaps - all chock full of yummy oils like shea and avocado - and to me - it's still drying and pretty much *the* only B&B product that's drying to me. But as we all know - everyone's experiences are different! Good luck! Jen
  8. Even with additional ingredients - anything with FBB is very drying to me and I don't normally have sensitive skin. Jen
  9. Right...(to the poster above) and my mil can't burn a soy candle because it aggravates *her* allergies. Jen
  10. Julia - I beleive Brambleberry has them for that... Jen
  11. I just had to send a follow-up email as well . I ordered 1/12 and haven't heard a thing since. Darn, darn, darn! I do hope that if Daphne decides to not carry these any more, someone will buy her out (like what happened with Labcolors). Jen
  12. I thought she said she was doing tins...I don't know if it's still high for that....but I would think that's where a majority of the cost is coming from. Jen
  13. I didn't realize you added color! I'm sorry! I thought it was from the vanilla but yeah...it has turned a bit darker. Not in a bad way at all though. Do you want me to send you a bit so you can see? I'm hoarding it to make it last longer . Jen
  14. Carmen - remember the WVS cream you sent in some swap or another? That does have a tannish cast to it from the vanilla...I think that's what she's referring to. Jen
  15. I just had a massage and she used a blend of lavender, rosewood, geranium, and rose otto essential oils...it was extremely nice and relaxing! Jen
  16. I used Robin's as well and it helped so much those first couple of batches. I have no problem helping anyone out at all. LMK if you want some help. Jen
  17. Oh - I completely agree with you but when I saw it on the ingr list...I thought possibly? Jen
  18. My lotion is just too thick to pour into a pyrex, mix, and then pour into a container so I do the ziploc method. If someone has a better method for thicker lotions, please fill me in! Jen
  19. Don't shoot me but could they possibly be using the grapefruit seed extract as their preservative (I'm not saying it's right but don't some people do this?). Jen
  20. Please don't use the crayons :undecided . Unless they're to keep a child busy whilst you create wonderful soap! Jen
  21. I do a straight sided jar with an aluminimum cap. I can get 6.8oz in the jar and I charge $10. Jen
