  1. I believe their sources are the very same....I have some from both but will stick with Lynn from now on because she lives very close to me! Jen
  2. Carrie - I just saw your post on the Dish I am so interested in doing a JS swap only! I love her selection and just ordered a sampler pack. Count me in! Jen ps - you may get more response from a non-supplier related board (like the Dish). I'm willing to host if you feel you're to new (to the Dish...as someone over there mentioned). We did just finish a newbie swap from someone who was totally new to the Dish and it went very well!
  3. Thanks! I'm really loving TexasBrat's Pink Sugar soap....tons of bubbles! My 9yo ds loves it too... I held out on Pink Sugar for the longest time because everyone was "loving" it and I try to be different but nope - I love it so I have a big ol' bottle just for myself! KSBell - I haven't used the scrub yet...but I really love your bar of soap! I love the scrubbiness of it! Are you willing to share your recipe? It's so fun trying the different soaps! I love swaps!!!! Jen
  4. I've decided that I cannot live without slsa so whenever I order from the few places that carry it...I make sure to stock up! I'm addicted to anything bubbly - bombs, soaks, etc! Jen
  5. Those are super cool! I don't quite get how you can use two colors with a meatballer...I'll have to try! Jen
  6. I didn't get the "poofing in the air" thing....did you mix it all together well enough? Je
  7. Thank you! Just sent you a pm... Jen
  8. Thank you thank you thank you (where's the bowing down smilie???) I mixed 50/50 Cranberry Fig from Brambleberry and Yuzu from Scent Works. The colors are from Ellen's Essentials (Peacock dyes...I really like them and you don't need to use much!). That was a swirl attempt...believe it or not...I obviously need lots more practice doing swirls I'll dig out the recipe and pm you... Jen
  9. Yeah! You liked my cranberry yuzu!!! Are you the one that did the shaving soap? Whoever did...I love it and am wondering if I can beg for the recipe?!? I mean...I love it. I just used the Pink Sugar soap and really like it! How did you not get it to turn dark brown (as I've seen so many Pink Sugars do...)? I also just used the chammoile - again - I really enjoyed using it! All the soaps are having great lather and I just love sitting in my bath tub looking at them. I probably average 2 baths a day since becoming addicted to soap and B&B products Jen
  10. Thanks, Lorri! BTW - which one was yours? There were some not labeled...there was probably a thread about what's what but like I said...I was on vacation For instance - I didn't know until today that there was a foaming scrub...which now explains what's in the white jar at home that I've been waiting to try! Everyone did a wonderful job! Jen
  11. It did to me...I guess I wouldn't say it was bad...I could just pick it out...does that make sense? I only made a 4oz batch so I'm going to try again with other milk powders. I would think each would have their own unique scent... Who knows - you may really like the scent! Jen
  12. I just made this last night and used it this morning and it is heavenly and full of bubbles!!! Jen
  13. I made this last night and used it in my bath this morning...and oh my...it was the most decadent bath ever! I had so many bubbles and it was so nice and silky. I used buttermilk powder (because it's what I had on hand...but it did lend a bit of a smell I didn't like) and I used fine DSS - I don't like sitting on salt crunchies. I also used fragrance at 3% which is a lot more than the recommended 25 drops! Jen
  14. Shutterbug - I'm wondering if you'd share the recipe for your soap! I love how it lathers!!! Jen
  15. Yes! I loved your butter and have a question on it. Do you want me to pm you or is here fine? My youngest son (9) also loved the butter...I think more for the smell. He slathers his arms before going to bed so he can "sniff it all night" as he says Jen
  16. I was on vacation when the box came and then the site was down so wasn't able to check any threads relating to the swap. I love everything!!!! I have a couple of questions on some recipes though (if anyone's around...). So glad we're back up! Jen (used to be firefliesandpixies)
