  2. Thanks everyone for all of the ideas... I e-mailed alan and am waiting for a reply. Told him it was no rush as I know he has far more important things to worry about. I thought up something I thought would be neat.. (Making Secret Buddy Cards Scrapbook style) and seeing what everyone thought of the idea. If they'd be interested in purchasing a card with 2 sets of tarts to go along with it. I ship it from my house to their pal so the secret stays a secret. On the first post I put up some pictures of the front and of the back. I put this together last night. It's my as we call it Tester hehehe. Let me know what you think. HUGS

  4. Hey hun plain emu oil is great for burns but it's best used immediately after you get burned. I used a mixture of Aloe, Emu, Ostrich, and Monoi with a bit of Vit-E for when i got burnt in Galveston and it worked wonderfully. Hope you figure something out for him burns are very painful. HUGS
  5. I make my lotion from scratch and pour when it's warm. I cap the bottles to shake them up a bit and then take them off and let them cool. Never had a problem yet so I'm crossing my fingers lol. If you pour when cooled I like scented's idea with the ziplocks I might hve to try that but any times I've tried pouring when cool the neck of the bottle gets clogged and I have to force it in squeeze the bottle and all that it's just a lot harder. For me anyways. HTH HUGS

  7. Hey hun... sometimes it's the oils. Sometimes it's the fragrance oils... Normally mine will rice on me if I use a certain fragrance oils from certain suppliers.. not sure what does it but it happens to the best of us. At least you saved it and that is a really pretty blue you have there love the bowl you have them in as well... Hope the issue stops... I'd retrack and find out what's causing it. HUGS

I haven't tried the cinnamon balsam but I made tarts with Peaks Cinnamon Buns and everyone I've given a package of them to has come back to me asking their next tester be that but in candle form. hehehe so I guess you could say it goes over well with people where I'm from (Mid East Texas). Defanitely worth trying out. Not to hijack but can anyone explain the difference in the balsam and the buns? Thanks HTH HUGS

  14. Hey hun... there is a site I think called soapteacher or something along that line that has different picture instructions for making M & P. It's really easy. Satin also posted a bundle of recipes in the recipe section... defanitely worth giving a look. Have fun with it... M & P is always fun... HUGS

  16. My favorites are any coffee fragrance all year round lol specially in the winter though... pumpkin spice, jack frost, Hot Apple Pie HTH HUGS

  24. Not to hijack but Satin do you have a preference in waxes? Seems you make beautiful candles I'd love to try a blend you use to see how it works for me. If you want to share any of your secrets that is. HUGS
  25. The price will vary depending on where you are located... i'd see if anyone else is carrying them and just see what they are going for. HTH HUGS
