  1. Hi Holly! Well, I have Peaks and it is so much sweeter---more of a mango fig or something to my nose. JBN's seems to be more earthy with a perfume note. I believe this one to be more on the lines of the figs I currently see in the shops around here. I have been using Peaks for a while, but I never felt it was a realistic fig. I have read that KY's is just awesome, so I will probably test it too, and then decide. I think Peak's will get renamed
  2. Holly! did you test your JBN version yet? I just poured and burned my KY125 in the same day and it is awesome! I have not tried KY's yet, and wondered if they were similar or not? I hear good things about Vickey's but this one is so classy I don't know if I would change.
  3. OMG!!! This is awesome, I am loving this one. I poured it today in a 3 oz. Votive, KY 125 soy, 9%, and it is already throwing like crazy. Anyone know how it compares to others out there?
  4. I think it could easily go as a toffee crunch! I love this one.
  5. LOL, I was thinking the same thing!
  6. You are definitely getting very high quality oils here. I think BCN and NG are not even close to the same league, but I am not a fan of either of those companies oils,(other than the BNL and WYW now available at BCN). I think the CC scents are so complex, they are just gorgeous! I don't always use as little percentage wise, as some say on the boards, but I do get by using much less!
  7. That is funny! Most of our customers say they love to have the smell of something baking in the oven, it makes their home feel like a home--warm and inviting. I never even thought of fruit or bakery scents as leading people to obesity! LOL That is so hilarious! My worst scents to pour are florals---they smell pretty, but they make me gag! Yuck!!! My favorite are clean, fruity, earthy types.
  8. Just wondering what the general consensus was here? I have been using more in mine, but a friend of mine said she uses the same % as she does in her candles. Do you get as good of a throw with less?
  9. I am testing this one and not getting a strong throw in soy. Have any of you had luck with this one?
  10. TSB has sweet serendipity and it is an awesome grapfruit scent
  11. What kind of throw are you getting with the orange pomegranate? I just can barely smell this one, but I didn't cure for long, either. I just love this one and want it to work so badly!!!
  12. Love both of these, they are really good in wax and bath products! I dont' get that weird note at all, I love Tahiti Sweetie.
  13. We have been selling lots of: JS lemon sugar JS Bubblegum SS Cupcake BNL warm vanilla sugar KY Cleopatra KY oatmeal milk and honey FOH coconut milk and peaches Swan's Ginger Peach
  14. I also go for 1% in my lotions and scrubs, you get a great scent, really
  15. Love Daystar's Rootbeer Granita, it is awesome in soy!
  16. I have noticed the same thing, I turn mine to 200 to melt, than down to warm. I have 4 pots and just keep them filled, we can make quite a few candles in a short time this way. Also, mine have spigots, and we love them.
  17. I think the JS 123 is a great wax, but I am the opposite---it is too far from me, so I am looking at Green Leaf!
  18. We also pour directly into the pot. I am lazy that way I guess!
  19. How does the London Lemon Curd compare, to say JS lemon sugar or Daystar Ice Box Lemon Pie? I really like both of these.......
  20. That is weird....I think it is just like a candy we ate as kids. I can't even come close to smelling cat pee. Sometimes my nose detects odd notes that are not there, and I think this must be the case here. I think BCN's cookies for santa is just like a big sweaty gym sock and BO mixed together...I hate it. LOL
  21. Daystar blackberry jam buttercookies and Ultimate Vanilla---wow, these are wonderful:drool:
  22. square masons in 8 and 16 oz---got them on both my waxes on the first try. Now don't get me started about my apothecaries.......
