  1. Thanks! I am ordered more wick, hope I have some sizes to test this jar with. They are nice, have a larger opening for a larger melt pool
  2. We use soy, and this is a very nice oil. Love it!
  3. Peanut butter cookies is to die for! Love this one Rasp. Dreams is another keeper for sure Caramel Nut Cluster is the best candy type scent--love it. Key lime pie, yet another awesome scent!! Never any fuel and a house filler Cranberry Orange Spice--delicious and strong! Country Grove--not my favorite, I detect an odd note, but could just be me. Vanilla Bliss--WOW strong throw! Smores--wonderful, not as strong in our soy as the others, but the best version I have found
  4. Hey guys, just testing these jars, any suggestions on good wicks for starting?
  5. Amen sister! This one is a top seller year round. Awesome throw, and so realistic. I also have a cinnabons type, and it is sweeter, less bakery. It is from Heartfelts--'Cinnamon Buns'.
  6. I love KY's home interiors mulberry, but I have had a few customers say they dont' like it....I even say on my site it is a dupe of HI, but I guess folks don't read! LOL My pomegranate is just ok---BCN. I really want a rich realistic fruit! TIA
  7. This is awesome in our soy wax. My tester used a tiny votive and said she could smell it through her home.
  8. I get fuel in soy with JS too, if I don't cut back. Use about 7-8% and it is awesome! I was just burning one today, and it was filling the entire lower level of our house.
  9. I have JBN, and it was good, but maybe not as strong as I hoped....anyone know if Daystar is good?
  10. there are many great citrus scents that don't have a fuel smell in soy. I for one LOVE WYW Vanilla Grapefruit, TSB Sweet Serendipity, JS Tangerine Tulip, BG Raspberry Lemonade.....I can go on, but there are really quite a few that I have found to do well. Sometimes you just need to cut back to get the fuel to go away....as in JS Fruit Slices, I had total fuel, then cut back to 1 oz. per pound and it was awesome!!! Huge throw, too. good luck!
  11. I have tried many sugar cookies to find they are just wayyy tooo light. I have tried SNC,BCS,KY and none have 'it'. lol
  12. Thanks for the info Holly-- I have not worked with RRD's much lately, but I have every wick known to mankind, lol. I will give these a try. As far as the greanleaf wax, what have you heard about the inconsistancies in the batches? If they get it worked out, is this a wax you would use to replace your current soy? The reason I ask is it would be nice to never have to deal with the soy issues, IF the scent throw and sooting is better than most blended waxes. I am kinda partial to the clean burn of soy, myself
  13. Hi Holly. I am wondering what size wick you are using in your jars? (tureen and square footed apothecary) I have been testing the tureens, and read that you also use this jar in your soy. I use ky125, and it is such an easy wax to work with. I have thought about testing the greanleaf, but am not sure I want to with all the inconsistancies in the batches. That scares me!
  14. JS strawberry jam is the best ever! It is so realistic and this oil is so darn thick! A very high quality fragrance, I am just loving this oil!
  15. I am so glad to read this, because I am experiencing the same thing in my container candles! I have been testing the lx wicks for double wicking in my apothecary jars with my 50/50 blend.......since testing these, I get very weak throws. They burn well, but the throw sucks! I have been thinking it was the fo's but now I am sure it is the wick. Back to the CD's for me
  16. I am looking for these jars, but was not sure if anyone knew of a supplier that had better pricing on these and the tureens? http://shop.candlesandsupplies.com/candles/product.asp?catalog%5Fname=Candles&category%5Fname=Other+Jars&product%5Fid=CROCK%2D18
  17. Thanks! I just burned the orange pomegranate after a few more days, and it is much stronger. I love this one!
  18. OK, I really really love this company, so please don't think I am slamming them at all, (I questioned the blue rasp. icee) but I am not sure I like the pumpkin frappuccino. I smell the yucky cat pee smell in this one Is this just me, or does anyone else get that too? I am crossing my fingers that it is just me! LOL We are working on a new coffee line, and this sounds so great, but I can't get past the cat pee smell.
  19. I have been testing this one, and am not getting a great throw from it. Anyone else use this oil? I really like it and am hoping to get it to work for me. I poured at 8% in ky125 soy.
  20. I have never heard of Backwoods! Do they have a url? Thanks!
  21. I have used a few oils that had great throws. Brown Sugar, Jack Frost, Buttermint Candy, and Rasp. Cobbler is excellent. Not one of my regular suppliers, but we do sell quite a bit of the rasp. cobbler.
  22. Thanks,,, I just burned this one again, and it isn't throwing a 6%, I think it will need more for sure.
