  1. That's what I was going to suggest. I've bought a few items from them and would recommend them.
  2. I never know what is going to be a "hit" from one show to the next. I take as much as I can make and load. Did it not sell because it wasn't showcased well? My DD hardly sold any B&B at one show, rearranged the table layout and the next day she cleaned up! If it isn't selling, try rearranging - it can't hurt.
  3. Beautiful, Sabrina! I can't pick a favorite, but even with the uneven sand, I really like that pyramid.
  4. wowzers! that is really pretty, Veronica!
  5. hmmm, my DD ordered from there. They were most helpful and shipped promptly. She loves her lip balm display.
  6. Thank you everyone! She did love her candles and the purple actually is a good match for the accent color in her living room - so I did good! Sabrina, It''s just a disorganized organization of women over 50 who get together and have fun. They wear red hats and purple outfits (gaudy is good). Since I am still under 50, I wear pink and lavendar, but in 19 days...look out! Check out the group pic in the member photos. We do get a lot of strange looks, but we have hattitude! (That translates to hat attitude!)
  7. One of my Red Hat friends is having a birthday. The purple isn't as dark as I meant it to be, but I hope she likes it. Scented Jingle Bells which becomes Candy Kisses in the spring. Oh, the red hat on the package is actually an antenna topper for her car.
  8. I know I'm late chiming in here, but I use sticky tac. It's used to hold posters up on the walls without leaving marks. You can get it at school supply or craft places. It works great and doesn't discolor the mold.
  9. I want to go! Amanda isn't up to it...anyone need a roomie?
  10. You can call it anything you want, but ethically, no, it is not a soy candle. I wouldn't want to mislead my customers by omission any more than I would want to tell them that parafin candles cause cancer. I believe soy is around to stay. Different waxes have different properties and make different candles. And people like variety and whatever the latest trend is. I've never used ezsoy, but I have used straight soy. It's a little more picky, but still makes a great looking and smelling candle.
  11. Beautiful, Veronica! Thanks for sharing. They are all beautiful, but I love the last ones! Keep up the good work. And don't worry about Bruce, you have 30 years to catch up to him!
  12. Hey, Julie! Did your Mom tell you she moved? Her new address is.... Dang, send 'em to me!
  13. Fabulous! I love when you post your play days!
  14. ... I think I have creative block. ... OOOHH, Bruce! Play you "name 3 colors" game again! That was awesome to see your spur of the moment creations! Veronica, post your pics! We would love to see 'em!
  15. I agree with all of the above. What wax are you using? Becuase I did find that if I add FO above 165 on J223, the throw was weaker. I don't think pouring temps affect throw, but mixing temps can.
  16. yeah, I know I'm late, but I'm still working on my year-end inventory. Does anyone happen to know the empty weight of Peak's plastic 16 oz bottles? I've saved FO's for last and I don't have any empty to weigh for tare.
  17. well, cool...guess my store has different ones, cuz the plastic ring was on the jar not the lid. I was bummed. In that case, awesome find, they sure are cute jars!
  18. I saw them, too, but I thought the plastic around the top was a fire hazard. They are cute, though.
  19. I usually use the 3 oz in gift sets or decorative holders...flower pot holder included. That way I know they have the right one. My website and my table signs at fairs all say that the jumbo volitves need a larger holder. I sell quite a few in the sets. Singles, I mostly sell 2 oz.
  20. candle science has wick pins and will accept paypal
  21. <-----General Information, handy calculators There is all kinds of great information in the sidebar!
  22. Large bobby pins to center wicks in 4 oz jars. I save plastic credit cards from all the goofy "you're approved" junk mail I get. They make great disposable wax scrapers! Oh, the envelopes are wonderful to drop some wax on to check the color. I get a lot of junk mail, might as well put it to some use. I tried newspapers on my work table...just gets messy. Now I have a sheet of .030 polycarbonate. Spills scrape right up and it doesn't wrinkle.
