    Okay I have one test done. Heated to 175 added vanilla color block, French Vanilla FO, cooled a little to long and poured at 140. Cooled completely out on the counter. Came out of mold with no problems. No cracking and No frosting :yay:

    LMAO...never thought about it that way, guess since I am turning 32 in May I want to relate as much as I can to being a girl without being a teenager.

    I want to show my products off with fragrances and prices and such, for my regular products that I am carrying and the special order section that I want to offer, should I make two seperate brochures or should I make the regular brochure and make the special order like a catalog with spiral binding....any thoughts??

    Maybe you could try instead of girl use gurl.. I'm not sure what the first part is so it might not make sense. I have a screen name for yahoo that I have it as gurl instead of girl, cause I didn't want people to assume that I was a teenager.

    What can you use instead of lard in a cp soap recipe? Vegetable shortening?? I am getting closer to attempting to make some just really didn't want to use an animal product if I didn't have to. TIA

    OMG... I am sorry, this explains a whole lot more. I don't speak to my mother and she has never seen my kids for some of the same exact reasons. I found it easier to just block that out of my life completely.

    I read a recipe, well I guess you can call it a recipe for a hand cleaning paste it said to mix cornmeal and apple cider vinegar, have no idea what amounts, but my question is do any of you think it would be possible to make a bar soap with these two ingredients. I have looked into mechanics soaps, and the gardeners soaps, and all sorts of recipes, but haven't seen anything that includes vinegar. What do you think??

    Definitely let us know how it goes, you might be surprised. I would love to have parents like yours, wanting to be involved in your life. Though sometimes they go overboard. I just thought about it from a mom's POV. I have always instilled in my two kids that no matter what you think you always and above all else be thankful that someone cares so much about you to give you something. Don't get me wrong ..... I too would be upset, but I am glad you found a way to handle it that will only benefit you both in the long run.

    I have a feeling that those are probably blended since they carry other types of wax.

    Honestly it never hurts to cover your assets. Insurance is a good thing to have.
