What about adding a little cinnamon to Green Tea (or any tea FO) and calling it Cinnamon Tea. I haven't tried any wine scents but could see a deep red candle in a wine scent. That may be too fruity for what you want. Jasmine - works in any color for me Asian Sandalwood - I could see it as a light orangey red Country Garden - You could call it Tuscan Gardens color bright red or orange Afraid I'm not very creative. Good Luck
Todays hurricanes. My parents wedding picture. They were married in 1945. Mom died 3 yrs ago. I'm making hurricanes for my brother and sister. If I have time I'll make them for the 5 grandchildren. On the right is my sis and her 3 boys. The 1 in the middle is currently stationed in Bagdad.
Love the extra touches of the flower, necklace and bow. That is one special bear. The few I made looked like a wet cat and that is bad if you've never seen a wet cat.
I'll have to get busy and finish burning the votive from the summer swap. It has been so much fun enjoying everyone elses votives. I'm in for a fall swap. Are we going to focus on holiday scents? Ashlie K WildAngel112 butterfly SatinDucky Katy The Amber Woods TerriWV Sharyl55
Thanks, Georgia, for the tip on adding a little yellow to the middle. Will try that on the next batch. Actually these were pretty easy to do - compared to marbling and motion candles anyway. LOL Just followed the instructions for layers.
Another gorgeous creation. You must have one fantastic flower garden. Looking at your pics is always so inspiring. Can't imagine the patience and dexterity it takes to make one of these.
Donita, my 1st several ended up back in the pot. There is a tiny window of opportunity when the embed is still pliable enough to conform to the shape of the mold. Thanks for your kind comments. I still have a long way to go to make anything close to your creations.
Thanks for your kind words. I love this scent. Works all year round. I used the technique on the old board for waves. Think it was Trish's. Used a spoon to squish the layer a little before it set up completely to look like bite marks. Still have to work on my squishing technique. LOL
I used a pillar wax and triple dipped them in scented wax. Interesting that scent cellar only used scented wax for the finally dip. Be sure to prep the cones. You have lots of time to dry them out and kill any bugs. I put mine in the freezer for a hour before dipping. Seemed to help the wax adhere.
Finally got the dolphin right but not happy with the color of the water. Suppose to be more turquoise. 2nd one started out as a sunset but ended up being more Navajo I think. Sorry the pic is blurry.
