Thanks everyone. We are still beginners and for every two good batches a few not so good follows. LOL It's still fun and we only make for the family so we will keep practicing. Ours will never look like all of yours but we love the feel of the soap and will never go back to store bought. Besides we're addicted now.

Thanks everyone I did separate batches for each layer. I have my oils and lye premixed at room temp. for total amount of oils so it goes pretty fast. I just measure oils, lye water, Fo and color for one layer, trace and pour. By the time I get one ready to pour, the last layer has set up enough. With 4 colors I divide the batch by 4 and print that amount out on soapcalc. That's what I'm measuring for each layer. Hope I'm explaining this right. LOL

We have only made 3 soaps with this and all of them have gelled. Have not used it enough yet to see if ungelled will come out so I really don't know. Sorry

I just unmolded the second batch with no spray and the oils from the soap made it slide right out. No sticking and the sides and bottom are as slick as glass. Wayne has made me wooden molds with wing nuts and I can take them apart if that makes any difference. Wayne also said he was going to try the Liquid Nails to glue the next one with and see if it works any different than the silicone. I am so loving this, I couldn't afford the silicone liners and this is so much easier than paper or foam liners in pieces. The stuff we bought is thin enough we are able to cut it with scissors. Hope this helps.

The first batch I used what little mineral oil was left in a brush which was hardly none. I'm getting ready to unmold the second here shortly and used nothing. I will post as soon as I unmold it and let you know.

Thanks soapbuddy, I couldn't remember where I saw these. I thought they were really awesome, especially for swirl impaired people like me. I'm not that great at swirling yet and this was pretty and something I thought I could attempt. Nothing like hers but it is better than some of my swirls.

We use a divider the length of the mold (cardboard or plastic), and pull it out right after pouring both colors. Then add a single dark line down the center line to swirl in the waves. It's fun and easy.

Good photos Honey. You handle the computer and mold making and I'll spend the money. Wayne is my DH and since his retirement last year I've turned him into a b##ch as my niece likes to tease. LOL! He signed up here a couple months ago and likes to make soap with me. He's a keeper!! Thanks for looking.

I think that is beautiful. I seem to reach for the pinks, blues and purples more often for some reason. You have great color combos.

AH and RE sells Ezra. Is Southern Soapers and Just Scent Fierce or Ezra? SoapandThings is Fierce, there is a difference in the smell. I'm looking for a cheaper Fierce than what I'm paying at Soapandthings. Thanks everyone
