  1. Any suggestions on how to make a laundry stain stick? Can I just make a 100% coconut batch @ 0% superfat and pour it into push up tubes?
  2. All are very pretty. The coloring on Lime Leaf and Lily is a knockout. Great job!!
  3. I love my moose tart molds and fortunately I have 2 of them because they only hold 6 each at one pouring and once in a while I break a leg off while unmolding. I got them for a theme I am going to incorporate in my candle/tart line.
  4. I just ordered some giner e/o and alot of other essential oils from WSP as they are offering free shipping on the oils. Can't beat that offer. I am working on changing from fragrance oils to essential oils for my CP soaps so I took advantage of the special.
  5. Has anyone a suggestion on a good ginger scent? I don't know what ginger smells like so give me a good description of it also.
  6. Actually Peaks has a great honeysuckle scent and it makes a wonderful, heady bar of CP soap. The scent lasts forever and a day.
  7. You should be good to go with your pot. Some stainless steel is thicker than others but stainless steel is stainless steel. Did you pick up some stainless steel slotted spoons for stirring when you were there? They come in very handy.
  8. I package mine in a small aluminum pie tin, 12 to a tin and slip it into a cellaphane bag and tie with raffia.
  9. I have used a blend of 415 and J223 with that jar with great luck. Didn't have good luck with the C3 either alone or in a blend when comparing the hot or cold throw of pure soy & J223.
  10. Hmm, I would like her to show me how to pour the middle of my candles first.
  11. You will be even more excited when you make the same recipe using the Dry Flo. It makes a big difference.
  12. I am skeered of pressure cookers:cheesy2: so I would never use one.
  13. I have been back and forth on this issue for years and still can't decide on just one or the other so I carry both of these waxes.
  14. I make a log of CP soap that has red and green chunks of M&P clear glycerin soap in for Christmas. I found that it works better to use the M&P soap at least in 1 inch pieces than in using the M&P soap cut into soap curlies.
  15. Thank heavens I only used enough for a slight pink swirl because just that little amount caused an off smell. My neons are now RIP and they won't bother me again.
  16. These were the neon poweders that I used. I have since made another batch of soap using same recipe and same f/o but different coloring and everything is smelling great. I threw all my neon powders away and life is great.
  17. Has anyone noticed an odd off smell in fresh soap when using the neons? My oils are all under 3 months old and I was besides myself as I cut a fresh batch of soap using an f/o that I have soaped before with great results. The off smell is slowly disappearing but I don't know if it will disapperar entirely. I have sniffed every oil I used at least 3 times & finally sniffed the bag the neons are in and it's definately the smell of the neons. The neons are such fun colors but I am going back to oxides & ultramarines.
  18. Cut your losses and dump the wax into your garbage. Or you could make firestarters with it.
  19. I love my Escali scale and never have had a problem with it.
  20. The title on your post made me look You are going to have fun with your purse. Maybe it will start a craze and you will make big money taking orders on them.
  21. My absolute favorite is Buzzy Bee Buttermilk from OT. It's a wonderful comfort scent and long lasting in soap.
