  1. 1343 will work for handrolled buns or Candlewic's 4045H is good also.
  2. I like your stamp and your soap. Very pretty.
  3. www.forcraftssake.com Get the professional cutter also known as the tank. Expensive but worth every penny.
  4. As long as I can purchase palm oil I will continue to use it. When I can't find it to order I will quit making soap. Lush has more ingredients in their soap that are possibly less desireable to me than palm oil.
  5. I use palm oil because I like it better in my soaps and so do my customers.
  6. They may work with a different wax with a cooler burning wick.
  7. Glad I saw this posting. Just this week I was eyeing up the paint cans from BCS and was going to order them for straight soy candles for a rustic line. I think I will continue to pour into glass as I was worried about the heat from the aluminum.
  8. Hey Toni, I live in Central Wisconsin & I make anise scented soap. We sell it in northern Wisconsin where we have the cottage. Yes, it sells well to the fishermen in and around our association.
  9. Yes, BCN carries 6006A wax .. it's the Low Shrink Container Wax 125 MP. When you click for details on it the description says it is 6006A.
  10. I haven't used the liquid silk in CP soap. I use silk fibers from Scent Works in my CP soap and the liquid silk in my lotions or body butters.
  11. Whoops, guess I posted this in the wrong area. Maybe the mods could move it for me??
  12. Anyone plan on ordering the oil from ND rather than infusing your own for the arnica balm? I am anxious to try it.
  13. You can contact Lyschel @ Candle Cacoon. She has a great Tiger Lily & Cantelope.
  14. Go for the gusto and buy yourself a tank.
  15. Maybe they are meant to wrap around the box like a cigar band???
  16. My recipe reaches trace quickly so I only use a SB for about 1 minute per batch & then I use a whisk. My stick blender has been around for at least 5 years but I do have a back up sb in the event it dies.
  17. The temp in my basement is 61 year round. I order coconut oil, palm kernal flakes, no-stir palm by 50 lb cases and just leave the cases sitting on the floor. Babassu is a hard oil & doesn't need refrigeration. My butters go into the refrig as does the 7 lb jug of castor.
  18. I use only the 92 degree coconut oil & love it. The only difference you will notice is the melting point & maybe, only maybe your soap will be harder a bit sooner than with the 76 degree but in the end the cure is the same.
  19. Congratulations on getting that first lotion batch under your belt. Making product from scratch is so satisfying.
  20. In the midst of making votives I ran out of 4794 wax so I am going to make the rest with 4045H. Any suggestions on the kind of wicks that work the best with the 4045?
  21. I can't get in to the website right now either but I have the calculator saved to my computer so I can access it & use it all the time.
  22. I use candle warmer crocks and love them. The ones I use are made by a different company though and come in many colors and different designs on them. They heat much faster than just the candle warmers.
  23. If you are looking for the plastic lid with one hole centered in it Genwax carries them. It's the one I use.
