  1. Very pretty- I love sugar cookie!
  2. Nashville Wraps carries 14x24 and up cell bags starting at $12.70/100 though I didn't see any 10x14. HTH
  3. Very nice-they all look real. Bakery candles must be difficult to do!
  4. Looks great- where do you find all of the time to make so many candles, make tamales, go fishin, etc.? LOL!
  5. That's beautiful- looks like actual feathers. Love the color.:smiley2:
  6. Great stuff! Looks like you've been busy:smiley2:
  7. Wow, that's great for you! That was a lot of money. Hope you've found a new place to get your labels.
  8. From what I can see, it looks like you did a good job on your embed. Votives are difficult to do though. Just make sure your embed is warm and press it firmly against the side of the mold so there are no gaps where your overpour can leak in. Good job!
  9. Love them! I really like the purple ones:smiley2:
  10. That's is really pretty- what a great idea!
  11. Love your work! I feel like a little kid at Christmas waiting for your pictures to download:cheesy2: They are all great candles but I'm in love with your rustic angel:smiley2:
  12. Here are the burn results for the LX 10 and LX 12. The LX 12 (first 2 pics) had the hat and is burning in a flower pot votive and has been burning for about 4 hours. The LX 10 (last 2 pics) had just the boot, is in a large votive holder and has been burning for approximately 2 hours.
  13. Gotta love silicone molds and tacky wax:wink2:
  14. I'm just wondering if the tight fit votive holder is all that important since I'm using 1343 which is a pillar wax. I'm trying an LX 10 and an LX 12. I've been burning the LX 12 in a flower pot votive holder for approximately 2-1/2-3 hours with no spill over. The LX 10 has been burning for an hour doesn't have a full melt pool yet. Thanks for all the opinions. I kinda like the hat on myself- it burned with no problem with the LX 12.
  15. That really is a cute bear- the sweater is great!
  16. A guy wants me to make some votives for his gift baskets that will include his specialty- salsa, rubs, hot sauces, etc.- plus other WY made products and I came up with this. Made with 1343 and Leather FO. Used tacky wax to keep the boot on and the wick will come up through the hat. I haven't test burned it yet. What do you think?
  17. Very pretty candle Donita- love the coloring.
  18. Rustic Escentuals also carries it. Their description says it is a blend of spicy peppercorn, clove and citrus bergamot. I may need to get a sample!
  19. Very impressive! Congratulations :highfive: Love your site too by the way.
  20. Those really are beautiful mottles. I love that effect.:smiley2:
  21. They are really beautiful candles- wonderful effects going on. I agree wth a lot of people on the first pic about the bottom not really going with the rest of the candle but still they look great. In your last set of pics, the colors of the candles in the second picture remind me of cherry cheesecake. They look fantastic. :smiley2:
  22. I used the Fragrance Finder and found that www.flyingwitchfragrances.com has a Christmas Wish described as a spicy vanilla with hint of cinnamon, clove and spices. I don't know if that's the same as Yank's or not. Well, I just read the description of Yank's version- balsam and vanilla cookie- and they are not the same as - sorry!
  23. I also had some problems with my draped layers not coming out of the molds ("well seasoned" ones) without tearing layers, so I tried the silicone mold release and had no problems after that.
  24. I pour the wax on a cookie sheet or small pan with a lip and use the cookie cutters to cut out the shapes while the wax is set up but still warm. It will stick in your mold much better if it is warm.
