  1. You can check out their offer under Supplier's Announcements.
  2. I haven't come across ANY like that- with or without the locking lids. Where did you find those?
  3. I don't believe vodka has a smell! You could just make vanilla and call it vanilla vodka;) When googling vanilla vodka, there are several recipes using those two ingredients to make perfume but no candle FO's that I could find.
  4. You are the man when it comes to hurricanes! They look wonderful- no doubt you'll get lots of orders:)
  5. I think your tropical marbles are fantastic! Neat colors.
  6. Oh WOW! You have been busy- they are all simply gorgeous!!!!!
  7. They look grrrrrreat! I really, really like the 3-wicker:)
  8. That is the name of the FO- they also have Wrangler Butts and one called if I remember correctly Hey, Hey Cabana Boy. Actually they have a quite a few unique fragrances. Thanks for looking everybody, and of course the kind words are always nice. And no, Geek, this smells nothing like an old cowboy boot- quite the opposite!
  9. This one's just for me- FO is from Daystar- had to try it because of the name! Still working on the wicking- so far 30 ply flat braid is working the best for the heavier FO's.
  10. Very nice job on the layering and I like the colors.
  11. I just got Sandy Rose (sandalwood and rose) from Rustic Escentuals and am testing it in soy and am really liking it- you're right about the sandalwood softening the rose. I like it so much better than either a straight rose or sandalwood. I think too that sometimes a light scent is nice in candles- it doesn't always have to blow you out of a room!
  12. It looks like you've been busy- Very nice stuff!
  13. Thanks for the comments. The mold came from Pourette. It's approximately 3-1/4 x 9-1/2 inches. I'm new to heart pillars, so will have to let you now how they burn after a few tests. I imagine, like Donita said, they aren't going to burn as well as round pillars. They sure are pretty though:)
  14. Here are a couple of test candles that I made using the heart mold I just HAD to have!!! The purple is Black Raspberry Vanilla and the pink is- what else- Pink Sugar:) These were both made using 1343, 2 tbsp/lb stearic, 5% FO.
  15. Taylored Concepts displays that warning. There was a thread a while back on it which you can view here: http://www.candletech.com/forums/showthread.php?t=5827&highlight=ASTM
  16. I think your display is wonderful- you should be proud:)
  17. Hey, they look great. I've been experimenting with those myself and have a ways to go before I post a pic!
  18. That really is beautiful. I've never heard of an embossed mold!
  19. I've noticed that same thing- the soy actually gets harder the longer it sits and sometimes the wicking needs to be changed. I made some soy candles scented with cinnamon bun, did my usual testing starting the day after I made them and thought the wick was perfect. I made up some jars and a friend of mine bought one. She mentioned that the wick was drowning out. I had a few of the candles from the same batch sitting around so decided to test one and found the same thing happening. It turns out I needed to wick up on that FO. So now I'm going through various jars burning one here and there just to be sure the wicking is right.:undecided
