  1. Very nice site although I've noticed several spelling errors on several different pages. I'm on dial up and had no problems.
  2. They are really pretty candles and I bet they smell great
  3. I'm working on adding it to my line right now because I do think it would go over quite well, especially with my electric candles and scented rag balls. I checked into making my own with supplies from www.atlanticspice.com (also www.sfherb.com if you are on the west coast) and www.herbco.com but it looks like Rachel's has a pretty good deal and could save you lots of time.
  4. You did an excellent job on that- that's a very sweet picture
  5. Been there!! What a PITA to clean up
  6. LOL- thanks for the laugh! I don't know what you could mix with cantaloupe either for a fall scent. I agree with everyone else on the pear and cinnamon though
  7. Great job on your first marbles! Very pretty.
  8. I think you did a very nice job on those
  9. I really like that idea. Very cute Those would look great on Christmas trees!
  10. When testing, I don't add UV inhibitor because, as you said, it doesn't affect the burn. I do add UV inhibitor to my jar candles. As far as the shelf life, I believe they can last indefinitely if stored properly such as in a cool dark place. That's for paraffin but I'm not sure about soy. HTH some! I'm sure you'll get other opinions
  11. There was a thread on this not too long ago- check out the link http://www.candletech.com/forums/showthread.php?t=667
  12. The directions that came with my electric candle mold state that you can pour some wax down the center to hold the socket in place. It says to place the wax piece on foil, make sure you don't have the bulb in the socket and cover the socket opening so wax doesn't get inside the socket.
  13. Beautiful! Looks like you've been busy. I want to buy one of each of your candles
  14. Beautiful candles once again I love the colors- very natural.
  15. That's a common problem with citrus-based FO's. I've heard that you can try adding a little vanilla to tone it down but haven't actually tried it myself.
  16. Very pretty! Looks like hard work
  17. I think it's absolutely gorgeous! I love rustics And you chose a wonderful scent- yum!
  18. Great looking candles The soy looks so smooth and creamy.
  19. Sorry guys, this one isn't scented- I just wanted to see how the mold worked! Here's a pic of it a little dressed up.
  20. I agree with everyone else- a great tribute to a true hero. Beautiful candle.
  21. I'd been eyeing this mold at Creativegems for quite some time! I got it Thurs, made the candle that night and Friday morning put the light in. I made this with 1343 and have left the light (5 watt) on several hours without the wax getting soft. Once I get the hang of these, I'd like to put them on a nice tin with some potpourri. Thanks Janet!
