    I'm in Ontario so I'm sure it's different here, but I was able to sell the business all of the supplies I had personally bought before I became a business. Hopefully that makes sense.

    It's nice to see you back! Good luck with remembering your old formulas! I agree with scented though, try searching through your old posts!

    Soy can be very picky. Not all scents will throw in soy. 1 liquid oz is different from 1 weighted oz. always use weights. If the bottles are 1oz bottles, then yes, you would use the whole thing.

    yeah I do pink sugar cp and when I first take it out of the mold it's yellow, then fades to a dark brown.

    I have talked to promoters after the show but not so much complaining, more providing constructive criticism. When I've had problems I'll usually e-mail them after the show and tell them what I experienced & how I feel they could make it better for next year. If someone is being loud & obnoxious to you AT the show, it just looks bad on them & their business!

    I actually just got my largest retail order ever this past week too! She's ordered gifts for 13 people. She loves that it keeps her out of the mall and I love that I'm getting my stuff out to 13 people who may never have heard of me before! Even cooler is that she told me to put some business cards in with it!

    for b&b stuff soap is definitely my biggest seller. Lip balm is second.

    I have mine in small wooden bowl type things. Each flavour is in it's own bowl.

    Yep, cello or polypropylene are the kinds you want to look for when dealing with scented items.

    I have the 2/3 step ones.. I use it as a 3 step & it holds my 16oz apothecary candles on all 3 steps! (probably 6 to a step?) They're strong. They have started to bow though, after about a year of use. Once I can find someone to make me wood risers that fold i'll be retiring them.

    I'm in the midst of testing the waterproof labels from scent works right now as well! I've heard great things about them from people who use regular inkjets.

    What about hosting your own house party? You could invite everyone you know & even post an ad in the local paper if you want.
