    Ditto! I've been making candles almost 3 years now. I find once I fall into a rut if I try something new, or get a new scent etc. It helps rekindle the flame haha!

    Lots of suppliers carry a fruit slices, im sure you could get a similar one from another supplier!

    I wait quite awhile too, at least until they're fully set up, often as long as the next day.

    I looked everywhere for a well priced (read - cheap haha) folding directors chair or bar stool with a backrest. The folding ones are near impossible to find! BUT I was at IKEA and found an awesome one, it's like a wooden bar stool with a backrest & it's comfortable to boot! I think I paid $26.99 each. Much better than Pier one who wanted $75 for their directors chairs!

    Ditto! I have more room for profit on soap/b&b, so per item I make more, but I still sell more candles, so in volume I make more there!

    1/2 hr is too soon to do a repour (unless you want to do numerous repours!) I wait until the next day usually, once it's completely cool, then I only have to do one repour & get a perfectly smooth top!

    I'm pretty sure aloe vera is water based & water & oil dont mix. You could probably do it if you add an emulsifier as well.

    What about getting an imprint of the cc's & calling them in later? I've heard a lot of people do that.

    If I HAD to... I think I would pick - Vanilla - Lavender (even though I dont like it!) - Pink Sugar - Sweet Pea - an eo blend. (there's always someone who asks for it!)

    As Robin stated, too much fo can be a skin irritant. So while it's probably not deadly, you could give someone a nasty rash.

    Not 1.05 oz fo to a wax melt. My wax melts are only 1oz. I said 1-1.5oz of fo pp (per pound) which is per pound of wax.

    You can make them smell strong if you're using quality ingredients. I don't personally use straight parafin (which is what im assuming you use) But try starting out at 1oz pp of fo, you could go up to as much as 1.5oz pp but make sure it doesnt seep out. hth

    Thanks! That pic is from about a month ago, when my bf & I were in the Dominican. My mom has a computerized embroidery sewing machine, that's why I said I'd have her do my next one! I dont know how much of a pain it is to digitize my logo though...

    That's what I did! I think next time I'll have my mom embroider my shirts though, they do fade as you wash them.
