Most logos I would assume would be copyrighted or trademarked. I would imagine you would not only have to be licensed but also get special permission from the owner of the logo.

Anyone ever seen these or know anything about these? I was watching QVC with my hubby a week or two ago and Old Virginia I think it is uses them and they are really neat! They crackle just like a fire. I have a gift shop right down the street that only sells Y***** candles and he is advertising wood wicks as well but I didn't know that Y***** made candles with those wicks.

My friend who also makes candles and I looked into opening up a consignment shop a couple of years ago. But we were unsuccessful in finding the right shop at the right price and location so we gave it up. I think your fears are legitimate but like the other gals here said, you will never know unless you try it. Although I'm sure you have 600 reasons why you shouldn't. If I were you, I would consider opening it up as a consignment shop and charge booth rental at least. If you have any of these types of stores around, check into what they are charging and see if you can do better. That way, you can get your rent paid and even make a little bit on the side in good months. I have my candle in a consignment shop right now in my home town and she has only been open since June, but she is doing very well. I do pretty well there myself. She has it set up really nice. It's a very nice shop, not junky at all like some antique and consignment shops can look. Good luck with this!

I don't color so I don't get frosting but I find that if I pour my 464 around 175-170, it sets up perfect in the containers and I have no problems whatsoever. I like it because I can treat it like a paraffin in the pouring and I don't have to wait for it to slush up. I love it!

Amy ~ Thanks for your suggestions. It's hard to bring those three names together, isn't it. Anyway, Jennifer goes by Jen, Brianna is just Brianna and Joshua is just Joshua. However, their middle names are Elizabeth (Jen), Nicole (Brianna) and Aaron (Joshua). EmpressC ~ What a wonderful idea! That may definitely be another option. Thank you!

I am looking to change my business name and get a professional logo done for my printables. However, I can't figure out what I want and what I have liked has been already taken. So I was thinking about incorporating my two daughter's names and my son who was stillborn's name into the name of my company. My girl's names are Jennifer and Brianna and my son's name is Joshua. I was thinking about taking a part of each name and putting them all together to create one and just adding Soy Candles & Gifts to the end of it. So it would be {the name} Soy Candles & Gifts. But my problem is, I can't seem to get the three to go together right and I'm giving myself a headache. Any suggestions?

CD wicks do work well for me. Not a fan of HTP.
