  1. I found some of those in the 75% off section at Jo Ann's yesterday. Now just to make some soap Thanks for the idea
  2. Made with the Target heart molds. The pillow boxes are from Wal Mart. The brown is Amour de Cocoa from Scent Works and the pink is Twinkle Toes & Fairy Dust from Candle Cocoon. Thanks for looking
  3. Also, I don't like "buying" molds (we make our own) but I did buy a Kelsei slab mold with my birthday money. Those are nice molds and they have the dividers.
  4. Yup, I second making your own. And I still use this box I found a couple of years ago that makes a great slab mold. And best of all it was FREE!
  5. Uh Oh, you got bit by the CP bug It looks great. Don't even want to remember what my first batch looked like
  6. Sugar in the raw is the brown sugar, raw sugar, turbinado sugar. You'll find it with the regular sugar
  7. Well aren't you clever! Thats a great idea and looks great in the soap
  8. Oh come on. I'll hold your hand Yes they mainly focus on B&B stuff. The first time I went I only made candles. I won first prize
  9. How much wax does one of those 4 ounce quilted jelly jars, wide mouth, hold? I'd like to do some testing on those and was wondering how much wax to start with. TIA
  10. Hey, are you the Sara I know? When is the BCN one?
  11. Hello! I started with candles, then after about 18 months moved on to M&P and tub truffles, etc. Now I'm into CP, scrubs (love scrubs) and other various things. I'm kind of new "here" but I bet if you look in the receipe section you can find a few recipes to get you started.
  12. I prefer the low profile myself! I do a lable "around" the jar instead of a label on top. It's just what you prefer!
  13. I tried one of my tins last night and OWIE that got hot. I get my tins from SKS. I may just have to stick with jars. I know you shouldn't pick up a tin that is hot but you know how customers are and I'm sure at least one of them would do that.
  14. You can use ANY CP recipe that you find for HP. It is recommended not to discount the water though
  15. I've looked at those and they seem aweful shallow. My favorite first mold, and I still have it, is a cardboard box! It was a perfect slab mold. My husband has made me several log molds and each were less than $5. You can get the wood cut at Home Depot so you don't have to cut them, bring them home and nail together. That way you can have the size you want. Just an idea!
  16. My husband bought me THE BIG one for Christmas and I haven't used it yet. Can't wait to play
  17. I use BCN's Biscotti in my coffee soap and it smells wonderful
