Gclarke
Anyone have any good suggestions for a woodsmoke or fire scent. I usually order from RE or Aztec but I can't find anything that is simply smokey?
Moonstar
Bitter creek has a campfire and WSP has Crackling Firewood which has a touch of sweetness to it but still smokey IMO. I tried the Bonfire from RE but not a fan even though theres great reviews and many like it. I just didn't get any "bonfire" in the least. But everyones nose is different. Moonstar
I forgot to add that I would think with the 2 above you'd use substantially less FO pp. I haven't tested either one though . One poster on here (Trappeur) said WSP Cracklin Firewood is difficult to wick though. Just giving a heads up
Trappeur
Geesh, I have so many different ones and don't like any....lol The one that Moonstar mentioned from WSP I never ever could wick that fragrance and I love it. Actually a long time ago one of the members here made me 3 pillars in the scent and it was so beautiful and I ordered it but could never wick it to save my soul. I just might try again as I have 3 pounds of it. Now Bittercreek has a really nice one so I have heard but I never tried it. It's called campfire smoke. rctfavr3
I like Wellington Fragrance's Smoke Fragrance Oil. It's a wood smoke crazy strong scent! I mix it with their Nutmeg FO.
strugglebrother
Try Save on scents "Firewood"... That one really smells to me like an open fire in a log cabin.
kandlekrazy
I just ordered Flaming's Firewood, should arrive by Wed, I'll see how it is. Their driftwood is a bit smoky but I don't think enough for me to call Beach Bonfire so hoping the Firewood is.

Do you blend yours or leave as is ? Thanks
TallTayl
I blend it. Needed the wood note for a few blends.

LoveFragrance
You should try Annick Goutal Les Orientalistes - Encens Flamboyant, it has a smoky, fresh and a woody tone

I once ordered one I think from Candlewic ??? is smelled like beef jerky - YUCK ! DO you blend yours like TT too ?
moonshine
I blend it as well I wouldn't say it's a burning log smell, it's a tough one to describe as SC scents have so much depth to them, kinda wood burning stove but not really im horrible at em describing scents and key notes I tried the beef jerky one also ?- never poured it so nasty I can send you a sniffie if would like just let me know
