islandgirl
Hey Mark,I use soy and I really like NG Patchouli. It's a very true scent.IMO it throws great. HTH:cool2:For the color: purple is always nice!!!
geekrunner
I have tried MillCreek's Patch at 6% in soy but it did not throw hot very well. I liked the smell but it the cold throw was only marginally better than hot. Maybe it needs to be higher load. I haven't tried Peaks yet, I have a sample. Don't get Gemlite's Patch. It smelled fine OOB, had good cold throw at 9% but it smelled horrible! MC may do better at higher load, but don't really know till I get more. Sorry I'm not much help.geek
mbroom2005
Sorry... what is NG?? I have a sample of Peaks as well but I don't even know what it is supposed to smell like so it's hard for me to judge.
islandgirl
Mark.....I meant to say Candles and Supplies for the Patchouli!!! I have been in my candle room all day and I think the fumes have finally gotten to me:shocked2: :shocked2: www.candlesandsupplies.com They are in Pa!! I use 8.5% and it throws great... Hot and Cold... NG is Natures Garden Candles in Ohio.. I use some of their oils too, but not the patchouli. I tried theirs, but found it to be a bit on the lighter side. Kaybee23
You should ask Scented, she is the patchouli queen
Scented
You should ask Scented, she is the patchouli queen LMAO!! I can't help with soy though, but you might contact Tri-State to find out what their product does in soy As for coloring it ... black and green Actually any color you want. Just know that patch is hard to wick, so start by bumping up your normal wick size for your application. I had to go two wick sizes up for my norm. Kimb
I get my Patchouli from Royal Aromatics, but just to warn you it's very strong. This is one I lean back as I pour it, otherwise I smell it all day.Kim
mbroom2005
In an 8oz Mason (Square) can anyone suggest a wick?? I use HTP83 to begin with so I guess I will try a 1212?? Wax is Cargill C-3...Thanks,Mark
realmarcha
I use Southern Scentsations' Patchouli...very true scent and a bit easier to wick than others I have tried. In a 3" diameter jar I use an HTP1212 and it works GREAT!.www.greatcandle.comHTHEdited to say: This Patchouli was tested in soy wax before Southern Scentsations decided to carry it. macnmyer
I don't use soy but Lonestars patch is pretty dead on and it's strong. I can't see it not doing well in soy. HTH.
Jeana
I use Patchouli essential oil in soy and it does fine. I haven't had to change wicks either.
michiganrocks
I use candles and supplies patchouli too. I don't personally care for it, but it is a very popular scent for people looking for patchouli. They really like it. I can send you a sample if you'd like. PM me if you want some.
