ladysj
I received an email from someone that said they want to place an order. I told them they could order anything from my website unless there was something special they wanted. They replied with "Hello,Can you please email me with the list and prices of the available items you have in stock at the moment for immediate ordering.RegardsDave.Not sure what to make of this sounds like some kind of a scam to me. What do you think? Edited December 6, 2010 by ladysj

brown5052
That sound like a diffident scam to me! They can see your prices and items for sell on your website. Can you check the ip address? I find that I get those type e-mails from Nigeria and those type countries! I don't even reply!
pleasureridgecandles
yep a scam. If they were on your website they can see what products you have available and your prices. And obviously if you have a website with this info you obviously can order from there so there'd be no reason to contact you for info that can be found on your site. I have gotten some of these before however they were longer emails which contained alot of broken english. Maybe they are condensing these down now in hopes they can fool us. EnvyCandles
I bet they need candles for an orphanege in a poor country....Maybe they will be generous and send you an overpayment via money order, asking you to take a large amount for your troubles and wire the rest to their shipper who will take delivery of the goods....!
