safetysue
Title is from one of my favorite movies - couldn't resist. Here's some pics of my first dipped bears and I like your honest opinions please. I have to admit I just didn't get this dipped bear thing until I dipped some myself. I have these sitting in the basement waiting for bags to arrive and boy does my basement smell great.A shout out to soapgirl10 for her lesson on bear dipping. Thanks! safetysue
Thanks for compliments. I'm shipping the witches hat bear to my SIL so I taped plastic over the little pieces in the pumpkin in case you're wondering. I don't know if they'll sell around here but if they don't I've got a start on my Christmas gifts. LOLWhich brings up a question to those who make and ship bears. Where ever you touch them the wax turns 'frosty" white. What kind of condition does the bear arrive in when you ship it? Do you send directions for fixing the frosting if it happens? Thanks

That darn shipping on supplies is a killer.
donna0809
I love your bears! I'm getting ready to make mine too, I was in Hobby Lobby today looking for hats and I had no luck. Where did you get your hats?
safetysue
Donna0809 - I did get my hats from HL in the doll section. Selection is limited to what you see in the pictures I posted. They are still OOS at my HL or I'd offer to ship them to you.
ProudMarineMom
Last year I saw similar type hats at Michael's. Might want to try there or maybe JoAnn's Fabric, if you have them.
