Candle Pics From South Africa

katinka

Recommended Posts

Hi there

These are some of my pillars. I make these specially for skincare salons and spa's. The pic of the red and cream candle I have just done with my first US fragrances from CandleScience. Opinions - am I on the right track???

Any comments and advice would be appreciated - I'm still very new at this!:cheesy2:

Very very nice!!! They are elegant!

Not that bad for invisible candles I suppose... I'd love to try some jars, but at this stage I am struggeling to find suitable ones in South Africa, so I'll just have to concentrate on these for a while!

Baie mooi Kersies Meisie!!!! (practicing again......;))

Very nice Katinka, I love the plain candles. I've been doing a few of those lately, scented Honey from Candlescience - I just love that scent.

What FO did you use for your candles??

I'd love to try some jars, but at this stage I am struggeling to find suitable ones in South Africa, so I'll just have to concentrate on these for a while!

You can always use the jars that are used for home preserves and jamming. Those are similar to the mason jars used here in the US.

Thanks for the compliment! I have been using very plain spa like scents - Frangipani, Vanilla, Green Tea, Lemongrass, Ylang-Ylang, Neroli. This is the once I could find from a guy who imports them from France for a SA perfumery, so they are all very soft. I did my first ones with Candelscience Clean Cotton and Pearberry last night, and I must admit that there is a marked difference in the scent throw - WOW, yours is so much nicer! I can see where all my money is going to go! This forum is very helpful to identify the bigger suppliers - being in SA makes it kinda difficult to choose.;)
