  1. As opposed to paraffin wax which would be a little bit more difficult.
  2. Anyone have any idea where I can buy candle warmers that are 120V-240V compatible? Over here we use 240V standard which is a pain when it comes to warmers because most of the ones available in the States seems to be limited to 120V. Any ideas on where I can find any or how I can get around this? Thanks!
  3. Definitely their Rice Flower Shea and they also have BCN's Vanilla Velvet which is their best vanilla IMO. The cold throw is awesome. Their coconut is nice and so is their Sandalwood. I use it as blenders. I also like their Hawaiin Plumeria, but I like JS Plumeria the best.
  4. I researched them a while ago. The feedback was that you need to test. Some love them and some felt that some of their oils had a fuely smell. His prices are really good though so you might just want to test.
  5. What is the distance between the candle flame and the bowl? If the distance is too big and she is using a crappy tealight it could be that the heat from the flame get disbursed before it hits the bowl - I hope I make sense... Can't see any other reason, if there is sufficient heat it should melt.
  6. I also think your post was misread. Thank you very much for posting this info - it is really helpful for people like me on another continent to get feedback from people. It is in absolutely the right spot as this is the fragrance section... And we really appreciate you taking the time to actually write a review. That said, I believe you are owed an apology:o
  7. Hi and welcome to the board and your newest addiction! Don't worry too much about wax reviews, what works for one won't always work for you. First have a look at suppliers closest to you, shipping can be killer! Then order sample sizes of some of them and play with that first before you go buy a full 55lbs. At least, if I have to start again and I had all the choices you have, thats how I owuld go about it. HTH Katinka
  8. I wonder if he would take it as a compliment or not, giggling to myself just thinking about his response... And Breanna - great minds think alike (I prefer to ignore the fools never differ part of that!)
  9. Don't know anything about M&P, but here is a link to a very good explanation of rebatching in the microwave: http://www.geocities.com/blueaspenoriginals/how_to_rebatch.html?20079 (this one does not explain microwave but has a nice pic of what it should look like before you glop it into the mold) http://www.dianesnaturally.com.au/rebatch.html - explains everything from A-Z. HTH!
  10. I'm itching to see the pictures too...hint hint...
  11. Now you made me spit out my coffee - topofmurrayhill is a guy...
  12. Be warned - you are fast on your way to becoming addicted...
